The Federal Court has rejected Najib Razak’s request to delay the hearing of his final appeal in his attempt to overturn his conviction in the RM42 million SRC International Sdn Bhd (SRC) corruption appeal. The hearing would go ahead on March 15-16. If this appeal fails, and if the Federal Court does not allow a stay of execution, Najib goes to jail.
Can he get a Royal Pardon? Short answer YES. The Agong decides who and when and how he wants to give out royal pardons.
The plan was this. Delay the court process until PRU15. At PRU15, Najib expects to have in place an Umno led government with a prime minister who will do his bidding. From there it will be a short hop, step and jump to work on a pardon with the Agong for the convicted felon and have the Attorney General declare that Najib has been a victim of political conspiracy, stamped NFA on all files containing criminal against Najib Razak. From there, he expects Umno to install him as Malaysia’s 10th prime minister. And all the corrupt politicians will live happily ever after.
Well…that was the plan anyway.
No can do. With CJ Tun Tengku Maimun at the helm, the Judiciary is not for sale. With Ismail Sabri as Prime Minister it is in Ismail Sabri's interest to see Najib Razak in Sungai Buloh for there will then be one less threat to his position as Prime Minister.
So what else can Najib Razak do? Flee. Run away as he tried but failed to do when BN lost PRU14. Can this happen? Will this happen? Maybe, but not when the government of the day, wants him in Sungai Buloh.

This is the appeal against the decision to disallow him to adduce fresh evidence.
As for the substantive appeal, I don’t think his application to appoint a QC has been heard yet. From another friend who is a former Federal Court judge.
Seriously? just gonna hold my breath till then. Damn right it'll be worth it.
