For Najib and Family...does crime really pay?

There are many things I have not done in my life.

Never was a Mentri Besar of any state at any age.

Never had an Armani Suit.

Never been to New York and stayed at the Trump Towers.

Never played Golf with Obama.

Never offered Trump to help him make America great again.

Never lived in Sri Perdana.

Never bought an RM466,000 watch for anybody.

Never spent millions on the marriage of my siblings to anybody.

Never had Police stolen chocolates from the fridge while they were raiding my house looking for documents relating to the theft of billions from a state sovereign fund.

Never had my house been raided by the Police for anything.

Never been filmed walking out of an Al-Jazeera interview.

Never had a friend who was involved in the murder of a Mongolian lady.

Never had a cat that had its own Instagram account that had 18K hits in a day.

Never been a boss of anything.

Never been bossed around by anybody... especially by my wife.

Never knew any Middle East royals.

Never had a childhood friend who became a King of any country.

Never had a son, a stepson or any kind of son who is a Hollywood producer of a A-list hit movies starring an A-list Hollywood actor.

Never looted billions from state funds in a vast campaign of fraud and embezzlement stretching from the Middle East to the Caymans

Never had millions from anywhere or anybody transferred into my personal account.

Never said "Kepala otak engkau" to anybody on camera - what more to an ex-prime minister of Malaysia.

Never approved an RM500 million 'commission' to anybody to buy anything for any government.

Never been responsible for leading the largest Malay political entity that has never lost an election ever, to defeat.

Never been jailed for fraud, money laundering, or for any reason at all.

But in the end, Najib...you have to ask yourself this...." Is it worth it to do all that and end up in Jail?"

When all is said and done, for himself, his wife, and his immediate family, will there ever come a time when it finally dawned upon them that their father, who is the son of a prime minister, and then became prime minister himself, is today in jail for the crimes that he committed while he was in public office?

This is the reality and the tragedy of this once powerful family now reduced to lamenting the absence of the family patriarch during Hari Raya, bemoaning that their cat is pining for his master and in all these trials and tribulations that they are now going through for stealing many hundreds of millions from the national coffers, they all seem to be unable to understand that what they have done is wrong. What did they do? They stole money that belonged to the people of Malaysia.

And now while awaiting the conviction or acquittal of their mother for three counts of bribery in connection with a $279m project to provide solar power to schools in rural Sarawak, and also various other pending court time for other members of the family on various other criminal and civil charges, we are watching the continuing sordid saga of a greedy, evil and still very rich family, as they go about living their lives in the ostentatious lifestyle that they have grown accustomed to on the proceeds of crimes that they all committed at the expense of the people of Malaysian. Enough said.
