Rajkumar PalmanaphanEveryone over here can even say a million things..who actually cares..they keep doing what they want..they still lead the country..culprits are seen as heroes...malu apa.. MK Ganesan Top spinner David LimI’m curious why the co is based and registered in SG when majority shareholders are Malaysians. Perhaps to bypass some laws or scrutiny of certain agencies? Will our PDPA applies to the company since it is based in SG? Can we hold them accountable? If sued, and they liquidate it in SG, what’s there to hold them accountable for data leakage? Can we sue them in Malaysia for violation of my personal data since it applies to Malaysian data rather than SG? A lot of people are ignoring these and not asking these questions…
Kean Ten TohDavid Lim you don't know? simple, a lot of Malaysians are operating in Singapore, one good example GRAB, why not in Malaysia, you know the answer, Malaysia is not the place to "cari makan" if you have the skill, once you are established, they want it FREE from you!!! David LimYou know? Please enlighten us more. And whom do you mean by “they”? I’m curious because the owners of the new company in SG are allegedly very strongly linked with strong cables. So, the want it FREE seems a bit confusing to me. Nithiya AnanthamDavid Lim When a conman given Power in the areas he knows nothing. RM100 Million scandal what happen Minister of Sport Wherever he goes he steals.
Maurice GoonSG based company and majority shareholders are Malaysians. Dig deeper and u will sure find something fishy going on there. Lea Chanif it's purely meant for gov use, why u need to be based in Singapore to attract investors? What's the whole meaning of having investors if it's not to profit out of it. And to profit out of an app, meaning you have no plan of dropping it, which undermines our personal freedom and it's not in line with the initial idea of combating covid 19 only. The promise that gov gave us, "temporary" until back to normal. Now endemic and still want to continue!
Calvin ChuiLea Chan .... Can sell to the highest bidder in Singapore... Nor regulated by the Malaysia's Laws
Faizal HamdiGary Chan the concerns are the data of every Malaysian that has registered from MySejahtera that might be wrongly used. Kc KongFaizal Hamdi not to mention your every move. where you go. who you meet. big personal security risk if these get into wrong hands Mohd YaniFaizal Hamdi what u think malaysia take data protection seriously? db pilihanraya pun tak maintain Donny Yeoh Initially said fully own by Malaysia gov. Next thing become Singapore private company. Then majority shareholder is Malaysian? What's next? YS Chang Biggest lie from the government, it's a breach on national security… in mysejahtera website, they claimed the apps is developed by Malaysia government. So… entomo is the government now? Why not sell LHDN, sell KKM to private sector? everything can be sold right… and I remembered government spend RM70mil for these data integration, why on earth an application like this need hundreds of millions to develop? Seriously….
Francis Wong Pk So it all about money and not the welfare of Malaysian. Singapore company own control of Malaysian Mysejatera company which the Malaysian govt sold out. Why it always go into somebody pocket the wellbeing of Malaysian.
Dex NgIs it possible to have the majority of shareholders owning minority shares? And who calls the shot in the company - Singaporean or Malaysian?
The company is Spore registered and comes under the jurisdiction of Spore..under Spore laws..so no difference if the shareholders are Malaysian.. this shows Malaysians have no confidence in own country because it had gone rotten by the politicians!!
Whether they are Malaysians or not is NOT the issue! It’s the private data of people in the wrong hands that’s the issue!! Fnb WorldImpression Sdn BhdThis shows how gullible which is greed and cheap skate of the government to accept a one year CSR project and not even to have the decency to protect data of your citizens with concrete agreements as to what happens after the one year contract. Might as well dump the Data Protection Act in the toilet bowl. Where is the guarantee and assurance that the database have been duplicated. Yes in Msia and where is the off site database located. Who knows and we have to speak to God to get the truth. We have a dump and deaf government.
Lazy Lucas Hahhahaa.....what a way to justify. Registered company in Spore, but majority shareholder Malaysians. Hello KJ! According to Huawei majority of their shareholders are Americans. Biden agreed too and Trump just issued apology for the inconvenience last few years.
Singh Singh Are u qualified to be a minister or unqualified in your Job....open your eyes and see where is Grab now. It's easy to talk, but it's not easy to be honest.
Why paying for such high price to acquire My Sejahtera if not for certain purpose which put millions of Malaysian citizens personal data in disadvantage. Have government thought that before agreed to accept this CSR project. Better scrap My Sejahtera totally as soon many worried about the usage
Question are, who are Those Malaysians? They have 'No Rights' to our personal info. Or are They with Political Cables to make money for themselves.
Well done KJ…keep the apps longer and wishing you one day you will be richer than Tun. Farmers and Fishermen can continue asking for pathetic boats and support you guys till end of time.
Zack HamidNot good enough. Spore build theirs at a fraction and keep all data by Govt. That is how you do it.
