The Najibs. A billion a day may keep LHDN away but will Jho Low help?

By the time the courts, LHDN, and the authorities are through with getting their pound of flesh from Najib, Rosmah and their children, there would not be much change left for Rosmah to buy that Hermes Birkin bag available in rare heritage leather, entirely vegetable -tanned natural cowhide with a transparent finish that gains a patina and becomes even more beautiful over time. Not if she wants to get for herself that top-of-the-range most expensive bag in fashion history that is going at RM1 million each! Woohoo!

How much are the Najibs owing LHDN now?

• Najib : RM 1.69billion.

• Nazifuddin : RM 37.6million

• Nizar : RM 13million.

• Nooryana : RM 10.3million.

That's already RM2 billion in unpaid taxes due to LHDN. With LHDN, you pay first and then argue with them if you think they are asking you to pay too much tax. Non-negotiable.

Fines imposed by the courts?

• Najib : RM210million.

• Rosmah : RM970million.

So far, a total of over RM1.1billion. By the time they get through all the court cases, maybe another R2 billion in fines.

That is no chicken feed.

Given their -present circumstance (both being convicted felons) and both are going to be either in jail or in the courts for a long long time to come: you can say that the chances of Najib or Rosmah earning themselves a decent income dalam masa terdekat, would range from zilch to naught. Kan?

So they would have to depend on what they have stashed away for rainy days like this.

How much do they have stashed away in Kazakstan and places unknown?

Even with the government jet doing overtime ferrying all those cash out of Malaysian to places unknown on behalf of the Najibs, physically transporting a billion in cash is a monumental exercise. So I doubt if they have RM5 billion stashed away anywhere. No lah they never use banks to stash their ill-gotten gains...the paper trial will kill them!

Jho Loh?

The only guy who would have that kind of money to spare would be Jho Loh....but why would Jho Loh 'invest' in the Najibs anymore? What can they do for him?

Long story short, these days, the Najibs need Jho Loh more than Jho Low needs the Najibs. Maybe...just maybe...he might be persuaded to throw a few hundred millions to the Najibs for old times' sake...but a billion....a few billion? No can do lah!.

So really the Najibs are fucked.

As for the children, with mummy and daddy locked away in jail, even if the shame and embarrassment do not make them go hide under a tempurung... LHDN and the authorities will be looking for them and will be going after them one by one. So maybe hiding under a tempurung might not be a bad idea.

Soon the Najibs will all be together in Kajang or Sungai Buloh. Enough said.
