Penyamun, penyagak & perasuah...be afraid. Be very afraid!

Today, no one who is corrupt can continue to be corrupt with impunity.

Today, if you're corrupt, you will be constantly looking over your shoulder to see if you are being followed by the powers that be who are investigating your misdeeds, seeking evidence to bring you to justice, or monitoring your every move and deeds to make you understand that if you insist on being corrupt, then be prepared for the consequences that will surely come your way once the authorities have gathered the necessary evidence to charge you, bring you to trial, and then have the court make a judgment upon your guilt or innocence, without fear or favor.

Today, we do not have politicians who we know are corrupt, holding public office where they can continue to indulge in their corrupt ways at the expense of the Rakyat. No Isa Samad as head of Felda. No Azeez as Chairman of Tabung Haji. No Minister of Defense presiding over the making of LCS that was never built, the purchase of helis that was never bought, or the wanton "privatization" of Mindef land for dubious purposes that advantage private individuals, not Mindef. No Najib Razak as prime minister. No Muhyiddin Yasssin who, as the questionable prime minister, was able to rape and ravage our nation's coffers at will.

When a decision is made in Cabinet or by PMX to do this or that, I no longer scrutinize the reason why those decisions are made.

When PMX tells us that he will "hentikan lantikan politic dalam GLC", I do not ask who he will appoint in their place. His own crony? Other orang politic from PH or Umno? Jobs for the boys? No, I do not. I take his announcement at face value - that there will be no more "lantikan politic dalam GLC" and will leave it at that. I trust our PMX to do as he said he will do.

When PMX tells us that "BERNAS bantu pesawah padi miskin RM60 juta," .....I do not think that our PMX is doing that to win votes from the pesawah padi miskin nor will he appoint his crony to "distribute" that money while keeping a percentage for themselves. I know the money will be used for its intended purpose - to help the pesawah padi miskin.

When PMX wants a Federal Agency, not the state government, to distribute the RM50 million each that he allocated to Kelantan and to Terengganu to alleviate the suffering of the flood victims, it is because he knows that that way, the aid will go to those who really need it - and not be part of any attempt by politicians to gain mileage out of the suffering of the Rakyat.

There is positivity in many things Malaysian today, but our expectations of PMX must be daunting for him. There is no way that he can deliver on all that is expected of him, but at least, we know what to expect out of him. As he said in Jakarta recently:

"Saya mau negara Malaysia yang democratic dan adil. Saya mau orang kenal usaha Anwar untuk Malaysia itu membersihkan dari rasuah dan penyelewengan....dan menujukan bahawa ada peminpin Melayu, Islam, Malaysia yang benar benar ikhlas untuk membela nasib Rakyat.... demokrasi dan ekonomi yang betul ..tapi akhirnya bila orang tanya...at least this man tried his best to save the country from the scourge of corruption, abuse of power. He may succeed to an extent... he may not succeed totally.. ...I am sure I will not....but at least there is a recognition he tried his best".

Let us all help brother Anwar in making our nation democratic and adil....dan membersihkan our beloved Malaysia dari rasuah and penyelewegan. Enough said.

Replying to

Penyamun, penyagak and perasuah of freemarket efficiencies and wealth creation in the form of suffocating regulations, bureaucracy and time consuming politically driven decision making, will not help reform our economy to be vibrant again.

Hopefully, today's retreat of the government will ensure this form of bumbledom is minimised even though this is unlikely.

PH government must liberate, privatise and globalise our economy fast. The team must deliver and if do not know how, ask around. Ai is fedup with this directionless unskilled ministers. Just do it! 💡
