They seem lost in their own self-importance. Lost in the adulation of those they think are people who idolized and revered them and are in awe of their presence. And right up to the very end...even a week or days before their final fall from grace...we have seen these leaders think themselves invincible and adored by the very crowd that will soon cut them down and consign them to the history books as failed leaders. Watching the above video clips of Ghaddafi, Zuma, Mussolini and Hitler, surely you can see where Najib stands among them all.
These days, after Malacca and Johor, Najib thinks he is in his finest hours. He thinks himself to be a superstar, the likes of which, Malaysians have never seen before. He seriously thinks that the BossKu that he has become will transcend the lies, the scams, the stealing and thieving of billions of ringgit. And, he thinks that BossKu will even triumph over the conviction that has earned himself the gelaran of being a "National Embarrassment"
I watch all this in amazement from Melbourne....far, far from the maddening crowd that seems to follow this convicted felon whereever he goes.
I am not amused. Nether am I wondering at the stupidity and hubris of those that think this convicted felon is the second coming of Christ or even God's gift to them...for after all, has he not been more than generous with his money? No, it is not his money....it is our money that he has been generous with. And do not forget the national embarrassment that he has become.
My thoughts at this hour on this Friday morning...at 4.10am Melbourne time...is simply this : What a disappointment this convicted felon has become for his father, the late Tun Razak. What shame he has brought to the Malays and Malaysians in his time in and out of office. As Judge Abdul Karim Abdul Jalail said : "There is no national interest here, only national embarrassment".
And like so many others who have gone before him, this convicted felon is now in self delusional mode, living in hubris. No one will caution or advise him that what he is now doing, is simply untenable. The end nears for this convicted felon. Just look at what happened to Gaddafi, Zuma, Mussolini and Hitler...do you not see a little or even a lot of Najib Razak in all of them? Pride in abundance before that fall....that is Najib through and through. Enough said.
