With all due respect, brother...

Comment : "Very2 sad the way a PM confronts a young student……….. he treated her like a heavyweight opposition leader. What would be his response if someone were to ask him to compare a bumi and non-bumi from the same school in the city instead of comparing a non-bumi in the city and a bumi in kapit".

By now, how PMX responded to the question posed by the above young student, is all over the Net, and I will not pretend otherwise. Simply said, our PMX could have done better. Our PMX should not speak down to a young student who is earnestly searching for answers from her prime minister to a question that is a cause for concern and worry for many non-Malay students: Why are mediocre Malay students favored over non-Malay students who have done much better in their studies?

If truth be told, I know why. And so do many Malaysians...it has something to do with the government trying to help the Malays catch up with the non-Malays...but our PMX needs to explain that to the young student in a way that makes her understand why. And in this instance, for whatever reason, the legendary manner by which our PMX can easily charm anyone he chooses to, somehow desert him.

May I respectfully suggest that an apology from our PMX to that student would be a good start in trying to sort things out? Enough said.

P.S....If it is of any help, the next time I am in KL, I will try and meet with the same student and extend your apologies to her...boleh?

Before election., PMX said need based policy. After election, it's back to race based policy.

Hullo, until when. The race based policy have been hijacked by civil servants who use their links to get their children into mara colleges and universities and scholarships all meant for the poor.

And now PMX want to start another group of schools for poor students.

The education system is broken. Where is the promised "Reformasi"??

The Malays will never catch up. It's a mindset problem. A "handout" mentality.

The pendatang will do whatever it takes to survive, and more, and more. Not the "entitled ".

The system has failed miserably since your proud independence. It is plain to see. Many refuse to see. Why not?? Same old, same old and still get rich from corruption and nepotism.

Using a teen to create cheap political stunt. Is the matriculation system only education course available to the SPM school leavers? The answer lies in the matriculation system itself, the syllabus is so shallow nothing compared to the STPM/HSC/A Level. Students who enrolled in matriculation think they can get to direct admission to the Uni.

How long will the Madani government continue to collaborate with the previous administration in implementing a quota system for university admissions?

Why must deserving non-Malay citizens have to plead for spots in public universities when they contribute through taxes and citizenship?

Achievement among Malays will suffer without healthy competition, just like in businesses where monopolies are undesirable. Meritocracy is vital for producing successful, resilient students in the global economy. We should focus on fostering capable graduates who are motivated to work within our country rather than settling for mediocrity.

When frustrated students seek opportunities abroad after their education, they're unlikely to return and address employment gaps at home. This cycle perpetuates our reliance on foreign workers and exacerbates salary imbalances.

I truly agree with you. I wish I cud also see her n apologize on behalf of PMX. Those questions were brought before n was answered before, a few times. D questions didn't come from her, likely from her parents or her teachers. She is an innocent victim. Shud raise them in PTA or send in appeals. Anyway, it wud be good if PMX can call her in apologise n explain personally that he will look into it for her. Done.
