Those days of Melayu mudah lupa are over! Sekarang, it seems that everybody can lupa. Malaysian mudah lupa......
While we are arguing the merits and demerits of Nurul Izzah appointment as the Prime Minister's senior economic and finance adviser, do you guys remember what Najib and family were doing? They were sailing on a mega yacht on the waters of France, Greece and Italy and discussing with Jho Low, pumping in US$1 billion into1MDB for a JV. and RM60 million from those funds went into Najib’s account.
While we are asking ourselves what Minister Rafizi and Minister Fahmi are doing in their respective ministries, do you remember what some of the ministers under the PN government were doing? One was touting that the drinking of warm water cured Covid.
And another Minister was hyperventilating about Malaysia's flying car. Although it was a private-driven initiative, a GLC, MIGHT, approved a sum of RM20 million for investment without doing due diligence as to whether that private company had the financial, the intellectual property rights, the expertise and the capacity to develop the flying car project. That's RM$20 million down the drain!
Any more nonsense under the previous PN government? You must also remember the RM$8.750 anti hysteria kit.
Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) had an anti-hysteria kit that comes with chopsticks, salt, lime, vinegar, pepper spray, and formic acid. The kit, which took three years to produce, is, of course, shariah compliant.
So please guys before you go on and on about what is nepotism and what is not nepotism, and asking what the ministers are doing or not doing in their respective ministries, think about what happened under that PN government.
Now that the floodgates have opened, we are also beginning to see what that Cerit Berit Abah of a PM did to siphon and channel billions of the rakyat's money into accounts that benefit family, cronies and politics.
So chill and be grateful that what we have to worry about now is our PMX appointing a well-educated, able, and experienced daughter to help him do his work to make Malaysia a better place. There can be worse things to worry about, kan?
Enough said.

So much has been said ,written and commented about about Nurul Izzah 's appointment but this piece of writing by Uncle Hussein is the best I have read among all . Thank you Uncle Hussein 👍
We used to joke about the story back then.
My lawyer friend posted this Comment on Nurul's appointment:
Pro bono work cannot sanitize nepotism; qualification and experience, however relevant, cannot justify nepotism; no contract award to relatives does not absolve nepotism. Nepotism is committed when you appoint your relative to a position of influence in the government- period!
Reminds me of a fictional story of a newly appointed PM who asked his businessman friend how he can repay all the financial support granted to him and his party. The chinaman humbly turned down the PM's offer of position or titles. He just requested whether he can sit next to the PM at the next cabinet meeting to observe cabinet proceedings. "Of course! ", the PM replied. When the day…
