In memory of our late, great Haris Ibrahim.
Periktan Nasional made inroads in the 3 states that Pakatan Harapan is ruling.
Unofficial results show:
Penang from 3 seats to 11;
Selangor from 7 seats to 19;
Neghri Sembilan from 0 seats to 4
In Kelantan, Kedah and Terengganu, Barisan Nasional is wiped out.
In the remaining 3 states, Perikatan Nasional makes big inroads
This means Barisan Nasional is wiped out.
PKR also lost Malay seat they had won previously. This means even PKR Malays have moved to Pakatan Nasional.
Clearly, in many seats, Barisan Nasional Malay voters have moved to Perikatan Nasional. They do not trust Pakatan Harapan.
BN will be slaughtered in the next GE if they do not change strategy.
PN has obtained the maximum Malay votes.
They now need non-Malay support to take Putrajaya.
Comment from DR
Salam.Bro.
I could imagine the frenzy on your Social media platforms....with an assortment of comments from your followers. Amidst all that my discreet notes for you to dwell on are inter alia:
BN, especially UMNO has badly lost its supposed role as a bastion of hope for some Malays. If its weaknesses are not addressed, it may become a heavy burden for other members of the coalition to shoulder.
Its Selangor heavyweight, Megat, lost by a tiny margin, but it is a big blow to Selangor UMNO and you can't help noticing the irony, when the "unpopular" Azmin ...won..also slimly.
The begging question is, when are the UMNO bigwigs going to accept and face up to the fact that, their President, with 47 Court cases in the pipeline, and whose heavy-handed disciplinary actions against dissenting established War Lords....can now be identified as a source of the decline in voters choice.
Would it not be better if he just take a Sabbatical - Leave of absence while his cases are being sorted out and handed the baton to Tok.Mat...who has a more acceptable political.track.record?
Tonight's results inadvertently have given PMX and his team opportunities to identify and address their weaknesses. A blessing in disguise. This is a very loud wake-up call to the more rational and realistic leaders in the UMNO hierarchy to start reorganizing and restructuring to revert to the roles that endeared them to most Malays across the divide.
Some leaders should stop strutting around as though "it's business as usual" They will bring the eventual demise of the party....if allowed to continue their unrepentant ways.
Just my personal afterthoughts and observations after watching the behavior of some top brass of UMNO at the closing address by PMX tonight. They strutted around as though they won the majority of seats!
Bersatu is also losing ground to PAS in terms of power structure. PH-BN and even Bersatu need to tackle religion politics for each others wellbeing. Muhyiddin is celebrating as though Bersatu is the winner, Bersatu will be belittled by PAS in PN. The PM candidate for PN come next GE would be from PAS.
You have been bullshitting for the past few days just like Mr Madani.
Sorry to say, you don't have any credibility left.
Just go away.
5 decades of Mahathirism or Ketuananism hardwired into the psyche is the result of this state election outcome..a no brainer. By and large the MALAY electorate wants re-access to the truncated GRAVY TRAIN. It's collective narcissism and pecuniary interest at the expense of other communities underwriting the EXCESS. Zahid's accidental trangression for self-preservation was the facilator to reveal this disguised hidden intent. PN is just the UMNO replica to perpetuate the 'inherited' culture..plain and simple. ANWAR has an insurmountable task to undo the divisive SOCIAL ENGINEERING and reliance on the UNTENABLE HANDOUTS that breed more TOXIC resentment, corruption and social dysfunction into society.
