We all have our stories to tell. Promises not kept. Nak memeluk gunung tapi tangan tak sampai….a bridge too far. As far as Pakatan Harapan is concerned, we have been through the retelling of ‘what might have been stories’ …every one of them. Enough. Move on.
Do not put too much significance on what happened in PKR’s party election, nor should you expect too much in the second coming of Rafizi Ramli. Everything is a work in progress. Will Nurul, or will Nurul not berganding bau with Rafizi and her father, DSAI in PRU15?
Will PH work with Warisan and Mahiaddin? Will PKR join the BN coalition if such a coalition allows them and BN to do government together in a “responsible manner”? Of course "in a responsible manner' depends on whom you are talking with.. ..maybe 'a responsible manner' means making DSAI as DPM and Finance Minister… maybe not. Just remember one thing...DSAI, PKR or PH, do not take us for fools!
What role will Tun Mahathir play or not play in PH? Will you allow Pas to be part of the PH coalition?
We want to know these things NOW, not later. Maybe not carved in stone but with some degree of certainty that will still allow some flexibility if circumstance dictates.
We want PH to account for and decide what promises are to be made to the rakyat should they take government again. We want those promises di kotakan.
Promise a clean break with Umno and the Umno led Barisan Nasional…and all that kleptocracy, bribery arrogance that has defined Umno’s rule over the last seven decades. Do away with entitlements, nepotism, and any sense that birth and whom you know gives you a leg up in life. That will send a message to the Royals to behave and take responsibility for their future relevance.
Demonstrate a commitment to respect the individual. Their rights, civil liberties and also make them understand their responsibilities to each other, to society, and to the nation. Cut out the “Kesetian Kapada Raja” bit. Not relevant anymore.
Zero tolerance for racism. You call a Malaysian “Cina Babi”… in the slammer. You call a Malay “Melayu Bodoh”…in the slammer. Tell an Indian to balek India…in the slammer…get my drift? Zero tolerance for racism.
Person of interest, police reports, kautims, being detained…all those things associated with PDRM….please lah Mr IGP…bring some respect and hormat back to the police force. I do not want to fear the police, I do not want to revere the police nor do I want to spit on the police. Just do what you guys have to do….keep the peace and make us feel safe and protected by your presence. Do not be a running dog to your political masters.
Let us start calling the mata mata what we used to call them many years ago….’Dato’…as our way of showing them respect and reverence for the work they do in protecting us from the forces of evil.
There are many other things I want to say about how we would like things to be after PRU15, but first thing first.
WE NEED TO WIN PRU15.
Right now, winning PRU15 is in the hands of our young. Not only the young in age, but also among us that can think as the young people do. The young are for each other. They want to live in a decent and responsible society. They want to bring change to society, to Malaysians, and to Malaysia. For them, the future is everything.
I am with them. At 75 that is all that I can do. I will be with them in any way that I can. For now, I will write…what will you other 75 year olds do?
Convince Anwar to let Izzah lead PKR and PH.Anwar be Ketua Umum and hold on to P.Pauh seats while Izzah back to Lembah Pantai.Rafizi retake D Pandan.PH will be able to bring back the Malay votebank in its 88 current seats and additional 30 from the youth and fence sitters. With 118 seats,GPS and GRS will add additional 30 seats and form a stable government😍👍🇲🇾PBM to add to the numbers and the rakyat fund the flags.Anwar will be PM and may not have to worry if Izzah might coup him.or will she?🤔😁
