Senior Officer of the National Audit Department, the woman who saved the original 1MDB audit report from being destroyed.
The 2 Heroes.
Nor Salwani & Tun Tengku Maimun.
The country's saviors.
Believe that the names of these 2 brave women, in 50 years to come, will be recorded in the pages of our country's history that will be read by our great grandchildren as amazing women with great moral courage.
This is something we should cry over...
Even if Najib is freed in 2034, the 1MDB debt will still need to be fully paid...
The debt involves hundreds of thousands of millions of ringgit that can easily build 2 Putrajaya's or build almost 4 KLIAs.
This is something to cry about by the people of Malaysia...Money that could have been used for our children's free education for years on end.
Nor Salwani, Senior Officer of the National Audit Department, is the woman who saved the original 1MDB audit report from being destroyed.
She had secretly kept a copy of the report because she may possibly need to refer to it again.
Salwani told the High Court that she secretly kept one of the 60 original copies of the report published by the department in 2016.
Salwani also produced more real evidence in the form of an audio recording that was 2 hours 45 minutes long, recorded at the 24th February 2016 meeting that was attended by top-ranking officials from the government & 1MDB.
She had secretly placed a recorder in a pencil case belonging to her superior before the meeting began. This evidence is now very important in the 1MDB case.
Her boss, Auditor General Ambrin Buang had ordered for the destruction of all the 60 copies of the report, to prevent leakages. Only the doctored copy was to be surrendered to the PAC (Public Accounts Committee).
Did you know, people of Malaysia, that supposing Najib is freed in 2034, we, the people of Malaysia will still be repaying the debt (our money) until 2039?
Tun Tengku Maimun, the country's Chief Justice, who heads the Federal Court in Najib's SRC case. Even though threatened...she forged on relentlessly, along with the panel of judges, to deliver the guilty verdict on Najib.

The federal government adopts the principle of separation of powers under Article 127 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia, and has three branches: executive, legislature and judiciary. The state governments in Malaysia also have their respective executive and legislative bodies. We Malaysians insist everyone are equal in the eyes of the law hence,in judiciary. However we are feudalistic in the other two branches of powers, the executive and legislative branch. We tend to be medieval in our social system and put them leaders on pedestals. We need to revisit our core values and change our habits and culture.
