.....and she and Kepit Man has something to do with it!
Lebanon is what we will be and where we will be heading to dalam masa terdekat.
The scale of the problem we have, because of corruption, is simply unfathomable. How can I put it in perspective? What percentage of our people now live in poverty, or will be living in poverty in the not too distant future - a future measurable in terms of months rather than years? How many of our people are now living on the edge of poverty? We all know of someone, if not ourselves, with no savings in the bank, living kais pagi, makan pagi; kais petang, makan petang. Every day is a struggle to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. That is the lot of too many Malaysian today for us to ignore!
How many of our people can not cannot afford basic medical? Have salaries kept up with the rising costs of living? What is the Ringgit worth now compared to a decade ago? What is the money you earned really worth now?
Why is this happening?
It is happening because the country's political elite have been milking the country for any amount of money they can extract with no concern for the survival of the rakyat. There has been a power-sharing pact between PAS, UMNO, PN that has allowed the political warlords to set up the government for shameless profiteering with no accountability. The judiciary and other check and balances that can keep an eye on the government were deliberately handicapped. Corruption and patronage have become the central business of the state, and all this has pervaded and invaded many parts of the Malaysian economy.
The public is now angry. But there have been no real change.
When corruption pervades all, it can literally destroy a nation. And in Malaysia, corruption is everywhere!
When corruption, greed and cronyism at governmental level pervades all, it will destroy a nation. Will that be the fate of Malaysia? Are we already heading in that direction? PRU15 will be upon us soon. It will be a crucial and decisive period for the rakyat and for the political elites controlling this nation. Will the rakyat finally have their say, or will the nation be still in a state of irreparable damage?
To win in GE15, we have to accept a few things.
1. We are a multi-racial, cultural and religious country.
2. A dominant party by race is not likely to win and form a government.
3. The multi-group team must identify their leaders early.
4. The economy of any country must be run on merit, irrespective of race if we are to compete in the international league. We cannot expect to send our 2and team to compete in a Premier League.
One thing is clear, corruption always destroys any nation. Our hope will be for the rakyat to fight for the survival of Malaysia and themselves. #RiseUpPeople # LawanTetapLawan
