THE MALAY ELECTORATE - THE REALITIES.

A Very Good Analysis - Put Down Your Political bias Before Reading!

THE MALAY ELECTORATE

To win an election, you need sufficient Malay votes. Not more than 51%, But Sufficient.

This is because there are only 30% Chinese in the entire electorate.

To Make Matters Worse For PH, This 30% of Chinese Votes Carry Only 20% Weight In Terms Of the Number Of Seats Because Of Malapportionment.

Malapportionment is where millions of Chinese votes are dumped into a few selected constituencies, thereby rendering those votes to only a small number of seats.

As An Estimated Example (2022).

Serdang: 350k Voters = 1 Seat

Kota Raja: 250k = 1 Seat

Damansara: 240k Voters =

1 Seat

Subang: 230k = 1 Seat

Klang: 210k Voters = 1 Seat

Gombak: 206k = 1 Seat

Kota Melaka: 165k = 1 Seat

Puchong: 150k Voters = 1 Seat

On the other hand, in the Malay Rural Heartland where BN holds the seats and PH cannot penetrate, this is what it looks like.

Cameron Highlands: 35k Voters = 1 Seat

Lipis: 36k Voters = 1 Seat

Lenggong: 37k Voters = 1 Seat

Padang Rengas: 38k Voters = 1 Seat

Gerik: 48k Voters = 1 Seat

Parit: 48k Voters = 1 Seat

Bagan Datok: 58k Voters = 1 Seat

That is why PH supporters must be smart and not syiok sendiri in what we call the “Klang Valley Bubble” or “Urban Bubble”.

350k Votes In Klang Valley Is Only 1 Seat .

But The Same 350k Votes In The Rural Areas Can Produce 10 Seats For BN As An

Example.

Every single pollster in this country has done research on who is the Most Popular Malay Leader Between BN vs PN vs PH.

All of them arrived at a similar result with the difference being only the percentage points.

1. Muhyiddin Yassin (+-50%)

2. Ismail Sabri (+-40%)

3. Anwar Ibrahim (+-30%)

Since PH Cannot Garner Enough Malay Votes, The Only Option Left Is For PH To Pray Hard That PN Can Split Enough Malay Votes From BN.

Else PH will remain as the “Non-Malay Opposition” and you know we know what “A Malay Government” does.

In fact the Malays don’t support corruption. They know corruption is wrong, too. BUT they don’t see PH as a safe alternative for them.

Say For An Example You As A Chinese. Even if PH is corrupted or practise nepotism, you won’t vote for anyone else either because you don’t see any other alternative as a safe alternative for you. So you continue closing one eye to PH’s wrongs. It’s not because PH is clean, but it’s because you don’t see any other parties better than PH.

The same applies to the Malays who don’t vote PH. They just happen to be in a different spectrum.

They don’t support corruption. That is exactly why they see Muhyiddin and PN as the alternative to BN and PH.

That is why Muhyiddin is more popular among the Malays.

In Many Of The Malays’ Mind, Muhyiddin Is The One Fighting Corruption. Not PH. Not DAP. Not PKR.

It is Muhyiddin who “Fought” corruption.

It is Muhyiddin who “Sacrificed” his DPMship to fight Najib and 1MDB.

Muhyiddin then went one step further by “Rescuing” Bersatu From DAP/PH.

That’s How The Malays View Muhyiddin.

To understand how those Malays think, you need to first take off your hat as a PH supporter. Don’t view politics from the lenses of a PH supporter.

View it from a real Malay Malay Lenses only then you will understand Malay psychology.

Though PH says that they are assured of getting the Chinese seats the votes from the Melayu matters, esp in the heartlands occupied by Felda n Felcra settlers. Mael has already pledged RM230m debts by Felcra Settlers to be waived, but u have to vote for Umno. Risda too to be given mthly stipends of RM800 mthly

So are the fishermen.
