I dont think anyone would want to invest in such a idea.
Dr m tried that silly pipeline and as you can see, lucky it wasnt built. These kind of projects are all proposed by businessmen who want to build and abandon. Its just not sustainable unless china, which has a huge merchant fleet, say so. And even then, they will insist on a canal so wide, supertankers can fit in.just to bypass Singapore which houses a US navy base.
This one...cant resist commenting lah.
So many.of these privately proposed projects...if approved end up with.bailouts..
And the Proposers end up.in.London every XMas & New Year..while some GLC mules are burdened with.ill these ill conceived and sometime still born
"babies"...
And the well connected Proposers....dont have any guilty conscience....
Remember.AES...that " brilliant speed trap.project?
Or Vincent Tans futile Off Course Betting Centres using Races from.HongKong,UK.& Australia?
Well.Investors found that rigging took.place
Centres closed but who.else ordered a Govt agency to compensate Vincents losses on some technicalities.
Actually,its daylight robbery...
And no one dared...to question
Those were the giddy days of power...absolute power..my friends.....
I dont think anyone would want to invest in such a idea.

Singapore will survive and prosper from any obstacles that is thrown in it's way.
It has the wisdom and ability to adapt to changing times
Thanks to a sound education and meritocracy
Alas , this cannot be said for Malaysia
