Selamat Pagi Malaysia.
Once she was a Minister and the doyen of UMNO's wanitas. This Mamak Tan Sri lady claim to fame or notoriety (depending on who is telling the tale) had to do with the fact that, by coincidence (her words not mine), she was married to the NFC chairperson Mohamad Salleh Ismail. The same NFC was gifted with a loan of RM250 million by the generous Bossku government, with the noble notion of making Malaysia 40% self-sufficient in beef production.
The Mamak Tan Sri Lady's three children, Wan Shahinur Izran, Wan Izzana Fatimah Zabedah and Wan Shahinur Izmir were all complicit members of the NFC’s Board of Directors.
There were rumors of keeping lembus in condos. And that spouse, whose hati ingin memeluk gunung, but his tangan tak sampai, also caused our nation to lose many millions.
NFC raised questions of fraud, breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duties, cheating, and the misappropriation of funds by the Mamak Tan Sri lady's spouse and her three children who may, we think, all have become fabulously wealthy because of the lembus. Intertwined in all these are telltale links to claims of privilege, entitlement, and the abuse of political power for personal financial gain that skimmed the edge of corruption.
This spouse of this Mamak Tan Sri Lady thinks that we are all foolish.
Let's not forget, that the government does not generate funds; it comes from taxpayers. Is her spouse suggesting that the government took our money and gave it to NFC to buy a Mercedes, condos, and land, and go on vacations while he forgot to rear those lembus? And now he, the Mamak Tan Sri Lady's spouse, is facing huge loses? Spare us the absurdity!
After twelve years of having all of their dirty linen washed, dried, and ironed in public, the judge decided :
NFC to refund RM33.7 million to the government,
The government was entitled to the RM86.9 million seized from the defendants and currently held by the Accountant-General in escrow.
That land in Gemas, Putrajaya and the condo at One Menerung (where the lembu was purported to be living) is to be transferred to the government as its beneficial owner.
But there was to be no refund of the entire RM250 million loaned to NFC. So where did the rest of the RM250 million loaned to NFC go to? Your guess is as good as mine.
But when all is said and done, what is the truth?
Did he buy the One Menerung Condo and the Mercedes for the real lembus or for the other lembus (themselves)? Please, can someone out there tell us the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?
Normally you took money from someone, you need to pay back in full. So what did they spent on the balance?
I heard there was a huge steak house in singapore that failed. Was that steak house used to launder money?
Our investigators are amateurish. They are like our politicians and lack private sector experience. Hence all these people get away with murder.
Maju group took RM950 mil in gomen grants to construct mex highway. Was that money returned? Nobody seems to know. Its a huge amount but nobody seems to care. Is there a department in finance ministry that watches over all these infringements? The second phase of MEX highway to klia has stalled despite all these.
Baffling,confusing and senseless
This Judge must have seen whatever that the rest of us cant see..
Or fail to see what the rest of us ...clearly see..
the cynical and simply sudden obscene wealth of NFC Chairman.and his family..
And the wanton use of the funds.
Hopefully there will be an appeal...and the characters now still enjoying wealth they dont earn...are brought down to earth....including those meat restaurants in Singapore..
