#SteadyMalaysiaKu

I have anger within me. I have disappointment and I have sadness that burdens my every waking moment as I think of what is now happening in Malaysia. At times, a sense of hopelessness overwhelms me and leaves me wondering what I can do to make a difference. Nothing seems to be working. Nothing seems to be possible, and there seems nothing I can do to make a difference.

I believe that many of you are feeling the same emotions and are burdened with the same worries. What may be different is the intensity of these thoughts and your determination to make a difference in life as we know it now, in Malaysia.

#SteadyMalaysiaKu started life, Sunday last. You all have already seen positive vibes, constructive comments, and useful suggestions made as to what we can do to win PRU15 for our side.

We have also seen anger, hate, contempt, and disgust heaped upon "OUR" side too.

And thank God, we have also seen, at times, some laughter.

This is to be expected when there are 67 of us in a WhatsApp group where anyone who reads what I write is invited to join #SteadyMalaysiaKu...and having joined the group, you are at liberty to read, write and post your comments for others to read in the group.

All one needed to do to express one's opinion of things...anything...is simply to use one's keyboard, and in real-time, those thoughts are published on #SteadyMalaysiaKu for everyone to read.

By the same token, anyone who wants to respond to what you wrote can do so in the same way and his response can be read by you and anyone else, in real-time.

What can happen and has happened in these last few days augers ill for the future of our nation. Long story short, we agreed to disagree with one another acrimoniously.

If, in this group of 67, we cannot get along with each other, how can the 30 million Malaysian out there have any hope of doing so?

These thoughts trouble me.

Let us give some thought as to how we at #SteadyMalaysiaKu can, together, build a group that can make a difference in Malaysia. A positive difference. Can we all put our heads together and see what we can each come up with?

I quite agree with. The mixed emotions not to mention the fears and worries of our beloved nation falling into the wrong hands and our nation go into freefall. There's nothing to stop the rot if Umno takes control of our nation. I dare not think of the consequences. I fear not for me, I fear for the other rakyat whose life is already difficult as it is, and it may get worse with FDI sidelining us, Our ringgit depreciating against a basket of other currencies, imported inflationary pressures.. and the list goes on Our judiciary will be compromised. I can go on but my head is hurting and tired and tired from all the bickering and disarray and divided, factional politics.
