The Malaysian voters, when they look for their pemimpin, invariably without fail, are for money. Buat kerja kahwin, anak masuk sekolah, buat niaga takde modal. If the pemimpin is holding a public office, they will go see the pemimpin asking him to exercise his powers vis-a-vis his office, to give them something. If they have a pemimpin who is a law enforcement guy, they will want him to help getting them off the hook when needed. This is the system hitherto running in the country.
Suddenly they are asked to support anti corruption, and they say, yeah let's get rid of corruption!
