Selamat Pagi Malaysia....bits and pieces.

Selamat Pagi Malaysia...

Cabinet reshuffle: Common sense tells me that who is in, and who is out of Cabinet is, ultimately, the decision of DSAI....so why are the deliberations by DSAI to decide who is in, and who is out of Cabinet being discussed by you and me? I was told that there will be a change in KDN. Then two days later I was told that the one offered the KDN post had declined. The very next day the story changed, and I was told, that at the insistence of DSAI, the person who was first offered KDN had reconsidered, and will now take the post. So is Saifudin out? And why?

And where is Johari going? MOF?

Mahathir and Anwar:

They are at it again, only this time, when you go to court, their quarrel will be out in the open for all to see. Disagreements among children are common and are part of learning how to get along. Children are still learning to control their emotions, so this isn't unusual....but grown-ups fighting over....over what? This is a he said, I said kind of argument that hopefully the courts will put right - but for what ends? Can they not just behave as grown-ups? I am sure there are other things more pressing for either of them to do. Tun can spend more time with his family and DSAI has a nation to govern....what say you?

Exploitation of migrant workers: This is an open sore that continually questions the political will of our government to make right what is obviously wrong. Everywhere you look you will see legal and illegal migrants. They are a social, economic, political, and human problem that should not be ignored because this festering sore will not go away....the elephant in the room! Maybe resolving a problem that has profited many will only open a can of worms that will involve the government, politicians, and too many entitled Malaysians. This is not a job for any faint-hearted prime minister to do. So we wait to see what our PMX has decided he will do.

Beras: Farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, seem to be blaming each other. Maybe PMX should do more than just ask RM$50 million from Syed Mokhtar...kan?

And last but not least...I saw this on FB last night. How many of you believe that it is so of this Madani government? I would rather not have my say because at 75 there are more pressing things for me to do...like finishing my first short black of the day.

On bernas,we already got mycc in 2010 that prohibits monopolies. So why is it that bernas monopoly cannot be revoked as the contract go against our laws.

Same with proton and perodua. If we had embraced asean free trade area wrt motor vehicles, other manufacturers maybe tempted to set up their assembly lines here instead of just in bangkok or jakarta. Hyundai chose Singapore fir its EV factory of all places.despite it being expensive, it probably mitigate that by having a more efficient infrastructure and laws.

Johari ghani is a businessman and under umno, it already misused their powers by allocating gomen and glc owned land to umno nominee companies.

Hence tradewinds were awarded land owned by dbkl, pernas (…
