Selamat Pagi Malaysia

Demi negara...

Demi diri sendiri...

Demi ibu bapa...

Demi anak...

Demi cucu...

Bangkit... Dan laksanakan tanggungjawab kamu - UNDI!!!

Saw the above by Sean Oon somewhere, and thought I should share it with you guys. No, I do not know who Sean Oon is, but his sentiments mirror mine. So whatever you do...do not forget to vote..and If we have to tell you who to vote for...then you are at the wrong blog site. Kan?

Fake News has taken wings in Bolehland since becoming a tool of choice for politicians to further their vested interests.

The fake news is getting better by the day. They look genuine - on 'genuine fake' letterheads and in a format that seems official. They are well written, with smatterings of truth here and there to lull us into believing that it is all true. The fake news they present to us seems believable, structured, and credible with the fake news weaved seamlessly into the narrative and all it takes for them to be taken as truth is for a few netizens to seize upon this 'breaking news' and share them with others, and in no time, it goes viral on the Internet, gains traction and succeeds in what it seeks out to do: manipulate our perception of reality.

This "genuine fake news" is causing enough mischief to require enforcement agencies like PDRM and SPRM to take notice and investigate. I am now wary of anything I read on social media....on any media really...and now ask myself if the "news" being sent to me is kosher or fake. So should you!

It's already 11.26 am...past morning. Have already posted two articles this morning, and this is my third. Waiting to be picked up by Lawrence, and we are off to sembaing with a visitor from home. For this past week, this will be my third Malaysian visitor met in Melbourne.

Be good. Do good and be nice to one another.
