Saifuddin Nasution : Steadfastness in truth.

KDN Minister, Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, has indicated that maybe, Sosma will be retained to deal with the rusuhan that may come - possibly because PN is intent on taking government away from PH?

What the KDN minister, seems intent on doing, is contrary to a commitment made by Anwar that certain parts of Sosma should be amended and improved as the law has been deemed ‘too harsh’

So what is it? Retained as is, or is it to be amended to make it less harsh?

Do we retain Sosma as there is a clear and present danger to the Unity Government because PN wants to unseat DSAI - who has been appointed by the King to head the Unity Government?

Are we or are we not committed to ridding ourselves of such harsh and repressive laws that threaten the civil liberties and freedom of Malaysians?

How will the Minister decide who shall and who shall not be subjected to the harsh and repressive Sosma? We must remain committed to the principles of "Satyagraha" - 'steadfastness in truth'. Already the composition of Cabinet goes against the promises made by PH to not work with BN and anyone faced with court time.

The point is simply this...do you keep your word or do you not? Must we consider political expedience in spite of what Anwar has told us time and time again...that he would have been prime minister much earlier on if he was prepared to compromise his stand to do only what is right?

What has changed now for him to compromise those principles?

For me, we need to look at the individuals who are now our political leaders and for Sosma, we need to look at its Minister, Saifuddin Nasution. He knows too well what Sosma can and cannot do. If we are to test the good and the bad and the limits of what Sosma can do under this PH Unity Government, there is probably a no better person than Saifuddin Nasution to be the arbitrator of it all.

His loyalty to DSAI and PKR has never been questioned. He has been steadfast in his principles of doing what is best for PKR. He accepted defeat to Rafizi Ramli at the last party election with grace and dignity. This speaks well of his character. It is almost impossible to be a good politician in defeat unless you believe in your ability to rise above any adverse circumstance that comes your way. He has risen over adversity. As he will rise over any abuse of Sosma if Sosma is to be used to stem the Black Wave that Muhyiddin and Hadi has threatened to unleash over our beloved Malaysia.

And there is a new spirit in the air over this DSAI-led Unity government...community responsibility! This spirit of community responsibility over everything that we hold dear, such as our civil liberties and the choices we make in our life, will be guided by the democracy we want for Malaysia and the common bond that all Malaysians are now striving to uphold.

Yes, Saifuddin Nasution is the KDN Minister. He is a politician, but, he is also one of us. I have no doubt that he will manage Sosma as we would want Sosma to be managed....firmly as needed but with compassion and grace. Enough said.

Anwar failed to create rusuhan on may 5th 2013. He called it black 505. Why did it failed? It did because the mastermind that controlled the demo, protest and riot says 'no' to it.Hence no one turned up at padang merbok that afternoon.

On the other hand, he was successful in getting massive pas support during the 2009 election in permatang pauh for his return back to parliament. More than 500,000 pas gelombang hijau youth turned up for three days in a row. The mastermind had said 'yes' to it. Najib took a heli to see for himself from the air and word has it that he peed a little 🤣
