Rolex Watches and the Police. Not compatible?

Why are you guys doubting the police? Why...do you think that a police officer cannot afford Rolex watches? Do you think some of them do not have rich parents who can afford to gift them Rolex watches (notice I said Rolexes...more than one)? Do you think Police Officers cannot have friends or acquaintances that can gift them with Rolex watches?

Don't be like that lah!

How much does a Rolex watch cost in Malaysia? What is the cheapest Rolex you can get? Any Air-King, Datejust, or Explorer? Maybe. I am no Rolex watch buyer. I have never even contemplated buying a genuine fake Rolex watch because everybody I know will know that I cannot afford a Rolex....so wearing one would be silly of me. The cheapest Rolex, I am told, is well over the RM20K plus plus mark.

That is less than the lowest-priced Proton model at RM 34,800. Surely a police officer can afford an entry-level Proton. Kan? But you can use the Proton to do many many things. You can go ka sana and ka sini etc etc...but a Rolex watch can only tell the time and maybe what day it is...and the Rolex watch just sits on your wrists and nothing else. So, unless he really has money to spare, I think a police officer would rather buy a Proton than a Rolex watch...kan?

And please PDRM...please investigate thoroughly before you comment on how a Police Officer is able to afford a Rolex watch.

Enough said.

Give him the benefit of doubt, assuming his parents are rich, this chap is an astute investor indeed The Rolexes will continue to appreciate in value whilst the Proton will deprecate to zero in 10 years Pandai betul!!!!

How can someone in a position of power and wealth be given the benefit of the doubt? Isn't it mandatory for him to declare his wealth periodically as required? Did he include his parents' wealth in these declarations all these years?
