Regrettably....the Virgin Mary statue was missing.

Regrettably, in Malaysia, many people believe that social connections based on race and religion carry more weight than merit when it comes to employment decisions, leading to the perception that success depends on having such connections. As a result, numerous individuals, including HH, choose to leave the country in search of better opportunities since they struggle to find jobs related to their studies. This even includes those who were on government scholarships, like the Malays. Veterans like Mejar Arshad have witnessed the detrimental impact of politics centered around race and religion, which has driven some individuals toward destructive actions. Personally, I was shocked when I visited my old school after 43 years last week and discovered that the chapel on the school grounds, between the primary and secondary schools, had been vandalized, with the Virgin Mary statue missing. This incident highlights the genuine threat of Islamization, despite witnessing the failures of Islamic states worldwide. The ultimate objective should be to establish a state that upholds Islam as a core value. Spending years in a Convent School didn't automatically make me a Christian. As one local scholar rightly pointed out, the corruption of knowledge is indeed alarming!
