Political parties should not have race or religion in their names!

What Prof Dr Mohd Tajudin said is true for the state of our politics now. Explain the result of the Bagan Serai election n the many parliamentary seats won by Pas

The young Malay voters are for Pas. Can they be blamed? 18 to 23 or 25 years old, it is a natural tendency to vote for what they belong to- their race n religion. It will take a lot of reading n information gathering to realize that matters are not that simple. Parties that claim to be the champion of their race or religion may not really be sincere in what they say. Their interest is mainly for them to get elected. Friday's khutbahs, efforts by the PH government employing ustazs to change their mindsets may not easily alter them

For campaigning, tik tok was used to spread false information- dangerous n divisive. In the name of Islam terrible words, and accusations were made. Islam was made use of as propaganda for some parties to win.

In Islam, we should talk of love n cooperation not only among fellow Muslims but also non-Muslims. Most unfortunate that in the name of Islam falsehood n hatred were spread. Of course, it is the duty of all devout Muslims to stop this

The setup in Malaysia of allowing race n religion-based parties n incorporating the name of the race n religion is also to be blamed.

Pas - party se Islam Malaysia. The first feeling of many Malay Muslims will be for this. It’s only after knowing more through information gathering, reading n experience that the mindset changes

Pas n Umno had big advantages over their opponents because of their names. But Umno managed to discredit itself

It is fair to propose that political parties in Malaysia should not have the name of religion or race. If they want to champion their religion or race, it’s ok, but do it in deeds.

PH now has a 2/3 majority in parliament. Time to make this change. Our politics should move to a higher level of maturity.

The education ministry must revamp the subjects taught in schools. They should not include religious subjects instead use the slot for more beneficial studies to enhance child's mentality and their future well-being. Religious classes if required should be considered only after normal classes.

Actually,if u go to nasi lemak antarabangsa in kpg baru, lines of malaysians regardless of race and religion wait patiently for their turn to get their delicious malay muslim nasi lemak. When i co developed luminakiara in mont kiara 15yrs ago,i sold 45 units of our duplexes to non muslim malays in two weeks. It was never about race or religion.its about top quality products, ontime delivery and priced competitively. So,political parties should not have race or religion in their names. Lets make that change.
