Malays themselves are confused about faith and hence the prohibition of usage of arabic words imposed on to non muslims.
Even arabs are laughing at us. They have no such prohibition. This is the result when our gomen allowed those who are not so intellectual gifted the powers they are not suppose to hold. And because it concern religious matters, which our malay gomen fusses so much about but lacks knowledge of, they allowed the religious authorities to run rampage with all kinds of illogical rules.
By right, the country's leadership should ignore any prohibition on usage of words in any language. That is leadership. Slowly and surely, we are giving way to those irrational voices to rise up.
