Fairness and Justice at home. Identify himself as one of us.

Our Brother Anwar is now not just the elephant in the room but an unruly, capricious one, mesmerised by power and position and some fleeting fame and exposure to some international apprenticeship. He is obviously not being advised or is not heeding any advice.

About time he changes course.

He has to focus more on his important job and pursue causes of fairness and justice at home. Sabah & Sarawak have to be brought closer to Putrajaya by accepting them for what they are and openly endorsing/espousing their policies on ethnicity and religion. He has to find ways to slowly expand the federal revenue base, reduce government debt as debt servicing obligations are threatening and pay attention to uplifting the well-being of our farmers, fishing folk and the poorer strata of our society. He has to do a marathon meet-the-people tour on foot, avoid pontificating from the stage and come across as a simple man who has the welfare of the people at heart. He has to devote a full year to these meet-the-people sessions and identify himself as one of us. He has to work to regain his central position, recover lost ground and govern with care and caution. Foreign travel and the championing of distant causes are best left to another person in the government. He must make a positive difference to the country and succeed as PMX. May the Almighty give him the guidance and strength he needs to do these things without being distracted.
