KUALA LUMPUR, June 1 — The Public Works Ministry today defended the reported RM5.19 million contract for the maintenance of Istana Negara as “reasonable”. In a statement, the ministry said the facilities of the premises had always to be kept in a condition that was befitting of its status as a national symbol that represents the sovereignty, identity, culture, and image of the country.
QUESTION :
How do we ensure that Dollah is kept in a condition that is befitting of his status as a national symbol that represents the sovereignty, identity, culture, and image of the country?
No really…..how do we make sure that the hundreds of millions of Ringgits spent annually to keep Dollah as our national symbol, is money well spent? How much does each Malaysian contribute towards keeping him comfortable in Istana Negara, towards the servants, the cars, the entourage, the expenses he runs up every day - whether to buy KFC for reporters waiting by the Istana Gates, taking his family on a ‘holiday’ to London or his trips to Singapore for conjugal pleasures? How much?
It is not about time that an accounting is made about how much having a King is costing us all. Not just his salary, his wife’s allowances (or whatever you want to call the money that Mrs. Agong gets) - even the liquor he drinks! How much is all this costing the taxpayer?
And while you are at it….how much does the Rolls Royce he uses cost? How much does it cost to run that bloody car annually - petrol, driver, repairs, the outriders that accompany the car ka sini dan ka sana?
Total all that up and table it in parliament. Release the information for publication and let the public see it for themselves, and then decide if Dollah is worth all that money!
And while you are doing that, do not forget a few things :
Do not forget who Dollah choose to be PM after Langkah Sheraton.
Do not forget Dollah’s decision to first say "NO" to the Emergency (hooray!) and then "YES", to the Emergency (Boo….), and for what reason? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
Do not forget Dollah’s trip to the Middle East at the height of the Covid Pandemic. Why did he make the trip? To see whom? To discuss what?
Do not forget his trip to London at the height of the Covid…not to see the Queen, but, let us be honest....for a holiday at our expense.
Do not forget the floods in Pahang that devastated villages and killed his own Rakyat, the mining and timber concessions in Pahang, and the many business opportunities he takes for himself in Pahang, and elsewhere.
Do not forget who he invited to dinner afew weeks back! ...clue...that childhood friend of his who is now a convicted felon!
Add all that up and bandingkan dengan apa Dollah dah buat while he is the Yang di Pertuan Agong.
Long story short ….maybe we should start thinking about a Republic? What say you guys? Sokong tak?

Look at our neighbour and China achieve to date without national symbol…
Can we share via email? How?!
