The first time I met this KJ was many years ago when Abang Lah was DPM and living in their Jalan Bellamy house near Istana Negara. Kak Endon had asked me to lunch with her and we were joined by Abang Lah halfway through lunch. Abang Lah wanted a quick lunch as he was waiting for his car to come and pick him up. When his car did come, Kak Endon and I walked him to the door and there was this guy by the stairs waiting to greet Abang Lah. As we were waiting for Abang Lah to get into his car, I heard someone call my name from inside the car...and there was Abdullah Omar (also now an aruah) a dear friend of mine from my Insurance days..and he came out of the car and we greeted each other. Kak Endon later filled me in on who that guy waiting to greet Abang Lah by the stairs was...that was KJ one of Abang Lah's assistants and potential beras, and Abdullah Omar's daughter was later to marry Kamal, their son.
The next time we met was in Penang when his good friend Jason Lo was, was getting married to my niece (they have since divorced), and in the time that I was there representing the father of the bride, my opinion of JK deteriorated - if that was at all possible. I disliked seeing young kids smoking expensive cigars and acting as if they owned the whole damm world.
There have been other occasions since then - but he never gave me any reason to believe that he was nothing more than an obnoxious spoilt brat who thought that life revolved around him and nobody else.
Much has happened between then and now. Every tale I have been told about him reeks of him being someone who took advantage of the position he fortuitously found himself in life - that of being the son-in-law to the prime minister, and he took advantage of that position and thought nothing of pushing people around, and letting people know who he was at every opportunity he had.
And what he is doing today on KS is truly a manifestation of who he really is....it is always me, me, and me that matters most. And KS...it gave him the public exposure he craved for and it matters nothing to him that he is getting that exposure by playing shamelessly to the public talking about nothing worth listening to. People are flocking to watch KS for the same reason people gather to watch horrific accidents...for the ghoulish thrill of seeing people injured or even killed because of the accident.
This is a man who once thought himself likely to be a prime minister candidate who is now really nothing more than a glorified disc jockey spinning tales to get people to listen to him....and really his tales are nothing special or spectacular... but the Malaysian public are gluttons for punishment and they will subject themselves to watching him for no other reason than he his KJ....Abang Lah's son-in-law and once considered himself good enough to be PM of Malaysia. People will also gather around anywhere they think that convicted Kepit Man will make an appearance. Today KJ cannot even win a seat in parliament and he is now reduced to hosting KS.
He has money...loads of it, made during his time in politics as the son-in-law of the prime minister. He is no longer that and you can see how far he has fallen. Enough said.
He is a person who will not stop at anything to get what he wants (PM) at 40🫢 even though its late...Once dapat those who hindered better migrate..☠️☠️Meanwhile lallang prinsip on/in good books of private/public to stay relevant🤣🤣
Dr m the second. Forget it.
Sabah and Sarawak especially suffering from Dr M exuberant national industries policy. The bntional car policy bars any investors from building cars in sarawak despite abundance of cheap hydro power and we opting out from asean free trade area for cars. So sarawakians forced to pay high taxes for cars which they could have bought cheaply as in brunei and at the same time, does not benefit from national car policy as these factories are in peninsular.
Currently sarawak thinking of exporting its huge excess electricity from green hydro to singapore or use it to produce green hydrogen for export to japan. None of these create many jobs locally. And only benefit other countries…
