Often the intent of words is clearer than the word itself. I remember not so long ago, a person who once was my boss while I was working, saw me approaching, to greet him and wish him well,with a smile on my face. He said loudly to his companions, "Itu dia mandore keling datang". My smile dropped, I turned around and walked away, and never spoke to him again. Intent is often apparent and it is better to presume that there may be offence.

I'm seventy five years old. Just explain why the malays in P. Ramlee movies differ from nowadays malays? I used to those kind malays where we sit and eat and drink in coffee shops with all kinds of food and we knew which food is forbidden we avoid as I avoid beef my Malay friend avoid pork but sit in the same table. P. Ramlee movies Malay girls don't wear tudungs and we could mix freely as friends and didn't hear anything about rape perhaps very very rare. Nowadays I feel malays are far from me, unlike P.
