The only constant in this general election is change. What sort of changes will come is not for the faint-hearted to second guess, for in politics, three weeks before polling day is enough time for anything to happen.
Like everyone else, I have watched things unfold on the political front with such interest and anticipation. The tyranny of distance and the physical isolation from others allows me clarity to process the various news, information, data, and comments coming my way from home with a detachment that borders on neutrality. As these data filter into my consciousness, there is only one caveat underlining my thought process....never forget that we want what is good, ethically, and morally right, for Malaysia and Malaysians.
PRU14 was lost for BN by Najib Razak who will be forever tainted by 1MDB, Rosmah Mansor and his decision to use his extraordinary intellect for evil rather than for good.
PRU15 may now be lost for BN by Zahid Hamidi - a man who has had the extraordinary luck to find himself as president of Umno by being at the right place, at the right time - but since then, has not been able to grow into the job with grace, humility and the finesse required of him, as president of Umno. Umno needs Zahid Hamidi like it needs a hole in its head.
And so today Umno finds itself...or should I say Zahid Hamidi finds himself, leading Umno into a general election that he must not lose, and yet, by the things that he does, he is losing ground to the opposition as polling day nears.
But even as PH surges ahead towards Putrajaya, we begin to see an extraordinary lack of humility by its leaders as they bask in the possibility that they might end up doing government after PRU15.
Increasingly we see PH leaders declaring that they will not work with anybody else in the opposition. We have seen Tawfik Ismail and Warthamorty's attempts to work with PH being cast aside. MUDA's entry into the PH coalition seems, to me, like an afterthought after its initial overtures to PH were first met with disdain. And we still have three weeks to go to polling...what else can still happen?
PRU15 is PH to lose.
But surely, who will do government is in the hands of the Rakyat kan?
Think well my friends and put into parliament good, decent, and responsible leaders who will do us all proud. If you do not, another five years of what we have already had in these last five years will be untenable. We will not survive another government as corrupt, as arrogant, and as blur, as the one, we are now having. So help me God.
Muda is already in PH due to Wisdom of DAP & Amanah leaders. In the case of Watha and Tawfik, I don’t think it is palatable for any party to consider paving way for them. They don’t stand a chance anyway.
Wah! Now Uncle spin about lack of humility. Keep on trying Uncle. Cukuplah. Nak masuk backdoor. Itu MUDA just another of Atok's chess game. It's okay if PH lose. I just hate being fooled by those lot.
PH extraordinary lack in humility by its leaders are due to its over confident of winning ge 15.
PH leaders believe by attacking umno's president on and on,positive attendance at ceramah plus haters on the net against umno plus a leading online polls, they are going to win ge 15.
They employ similar strategy in ge 11 some 23 yrs ago.they attacked the umno president relentlesssly and nicknamed him mahafiraun and what not.then they hold ceramah day in day out.they even got vp of usa (al gore) to come to kl and declare to openly support them.. and surely the fund that goes with it.
They lost.they won only one seat in parliament.
So leaders of PH,think again,it aint over till…
