How do you live life in jail? How do you live life after jail?

We have today, as our prime minister, a man who spent over a decade in jail. Let us not go into the "whys" of DSAI being jailed. Those matters can be disputed. A full pardon has been granted. Abracadabra, all of DSAI past convictions have been expunged.

What cannot be expunged are the years he spent in jail. How do you live life in jail...and more relevant today for DSAI, how does he live life after jail?

I would expect that he has had plenty of time to think while in prison. He would have thought about what he would do once he was again a free man.

I think fighting injustice would be one of his priorities. He has maintained his innocence of all the charges leveled against him - so surely, he would have vowed to fight injustice of any kind. Especially in the manner, the judiciary was being unfairly used by the government of the day to punish him for something he said he did not do.

He must have also seen how his supporters were treated by PDRM and the authorities...harassed, physically abused, persecuted, and prosecuted...and surely he must have vowed to himself that he would not be a party to that kind of injustice perpetrated upon his supporters...upon anybody!

And surely deep down within him, he must have wanted his day of reckoning with those who have been responsible for his plight.

Today, DSAI is not only free, but he is also the prime minister. What must be in his mind to do?

Is he fighting injustice? Has he started 'cleaning up' the authorities used to prosecute and persecute him? Are SPRM, PDRM, and the AGC paragons of virtues? Are the laws that were abused by the then government to unfairly jail him being repealed? Has he ensured that there will no longer be Judges who will do the evil bidding of their political masters? Has he put in place checks and balances to ensure that the government he heads, will always do the right thing for the people and for Malaysia? Has he, above all else, insisted that his government, his ministers, and himself are guided by ethics and an unwavering moral compass that will stand scrutiny?

The deep state that was corrupt and beholden to Mahathir, Najib, Ismail Sabri and Mahiaddin remains largely intact, and are now ready to serve any other political masters. Bookshops are raided. SOSMA is still in place to incarcerate Rakyats who are deemed to be a threat to our national security. Mainstream Media, the Internet, and those aficionados of the Internet are being closely monitored. MCMC is still the obnoxious big brother looking over our shoulder to ensure we are "not a threat to national security." Wither has Reformasi gone?

Today, the chatter on the Net is more structured and disciplined. You can be assured that everything PMX does, locally and abroad, is scrutinized and rationalized by a host of self-appointed guardians who want to ensure that DSAI does the right things by them. We talk to each other. We exchange ideas, and comments and criticize in a constructive and responsible manner. All this we do mindful of the fact that there are others out to wanting to make capital out of anything they can to discredit PMX and his Madani government.

And I am sharing with you this comment from one of our friends that came in not two minutes ago on DSAI :

Bro, Mariam says it all. Anwar is incorrigible. He retained a crook like Azmin for so many years when he knew he was rotten to the core. He befriended a pimp like Nallakaruppan when he knew he was a doublecrosser. In home affairs he has Saifuddin who lost the last election. It is obvious he doesn't trust Rafizi or Fahmi Fadzil. He,I believe, cannot manage the PM's post. So he slides into his comfort zone- this 40 Hadith, . Madani, fighting Islamophobia etc. He is a rebel without a clear cause and plays the underdog when he is the prime minister. He should focus on governing with his cabinet colleagues, not act as if he is the aspiring presidential candidate and chief agitator in the country.

That says it all. Our PMX ....and the emphasis is on the word "OUR"....OUR PMX, must be made aware of the fact that the tide has turned against him and this Madani government. That sentiment is like a stone thrown into a pond....and the ripples that it has made move in an ever-widening circle in unison across the whole pond...sweeping everything and everybody along with it. In that pond, the ripples will have to stop once it reaches the sides of the pond. .....but the tide against this Madani government has no such constraints. When I powered on my IMac this morning, the ripples against PMX and the Madani government cannot be ignored as I read the messages and comments of the same, sent to me by friends and acquaintances, across the Net.

Let us see what happens in the coming by-election for the parliamentary seat in Pulai, and the state ward of Simpang Jeram. If there is to be any comfort to PMX, at the very minimum, the sympathy votes will certainly be cast for the late Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub who held the seats before he died due to a brain hemorrhage on July 23. Losing Pulai and Simpang Jeram to PN is not good. We wait.

After waiting for years to attain this position of political power, he should prioritize national self-interest over the concerns of his political adversaries and this community. This might involve employing military, economic, or political measures to safeguard the nation's interests.

However, PMX still aims to cater to the same Islamic agenda as other Malay parties through religious appeals. This approach is unlikely to bring about any change, especially given the widespread corruption of knowledge. How could he reverse this? What alternative Islamic strategy could he use for those who didn't support his Prime Ministerial bid?

Regarding the deep state around him, what transpired after the 1979 Iranian Revolution, especially following its economic failure? Women ended up as victims of the…
