He was appointed as a Roving Ambassador to the Middle East with Ministerial Status by virtue of being Head of PAS with a sufficient number of seats in Parliament to play the kingmaker's role.

No other parties could ignore or treat him lightly, as his decisions make a big difference and could result in shifts of power.

Yet he is listed as a Terrorist by an International organization and Saudi Arabia refused to allow him into their Country.

So how?

He had, in the recent past, forged alliances with a few bedfellows, UMNO, Barisan Nasional, Pakatan Harapan and now Perkatan Nasional. Very expedient and convenient alliances that had profited him and PAS politically and financially.

Many videos of his ceramahs have been circulated. He really has had not much of an impact.

Then comes the above video.

With the initial intention of just listening for a minute or so, before pressing the "Delete" button, I found myself, semi-transfixed to the speech delivered in a commoner dialect of Northern Terengganu, which thankfully, I am used to.

He was at pain to emphasize, that, unlike many Ulamaks who master just the Holy Quran and its spin-off advocacies, he has also read and mastered politics - both at the local and international level. And that is the basis of his tazkirah about the political choice that PAS has made in wading through the floods to fight in the next GE.

Please don't hold back your chuckles when you hear him referring to" cucuk cucuk berlaga..mana boleh dapat zuriat"..when cynically referring to homosexual activities, which he claims is patronized by PH (LBGT - Lesbians Gays, and Transgenders - pondans ).

I listened to the end.

And decided that it is such an interesting video for the weekend after being mortified by the Java-born political leader, confessing openly that one of the main reasons for the Court Clusters desperately wanting the GE and winning is to avoid going to jail. It is nauseating coming from a UPM or UKM PhD holder....sick, sick,sick. And yet, UMNO masses let him bully them.

Remember the village bully who owns the ball, used by the two kampung teams in their match? He will not allow the ball to be played until his side, trailing by a goal, scores to level!
