Football - the sad state of our League.

ree

Nearly all the so called Foreign professionals are nowhere better than our local players.

In fact some are just in for their bigger and intimidating physiques..

The skills, football sense, accuracy and ability were of embarrassing low quality.and really doesnt enhance the quality and performance of both teams.

Stray passes, blind clearances. cul de sac runs, sluggish.runs, and back/ square passes were common traits amongst them..

And goals scored were due to longer limbs, higher jumps and physical superiority, not so much of any outstanding football skills.

Recruitment of foreign players for club teams is now an internationally accepted practice.

But naturalising foreigners to.play for the country, is not embraced by many but Malaysia through the shortsightednes of FAM, has decided to opt for this short cut to instant success...

Sometimes its so difficult to celebrate goals scored by Africans,Latin Americans and European claiming to possess a trickle of Malaysian blood.

And some. cant even find a decent Club in their own country. and has expired shelf life...but somehow their Agents has convinced FAM to grant them Citizenships🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Again it was heartening to notice the sprinkling of spectators in the stands of the new Hang Jebat Stadium( an improvement from the Bandar Hilir Grounds),the small group of organised cheerleaders and the colourful live coverage.

But really nothing compared to the Bandar Hilir crowds spilling onto the touchline to watch Melaka led by Chin Aun.,Ali.Jantan.,Lim Teong Kim, plus other locals, fight against the best of Malaysia Cup.Competitors......

😢😢😢😢😢

So true that it is difficult to celebrate goals by these useless imports with hardly ‘spoonfuls’ of Malaysian blood in them; embarrassing as those who may have spoonfuls of Indian blood! 😬 Btw, my take is that Msian football really started going down the drain when a certain laterally challenged person’s father became the FAM prez in or around the ‘80s
