Food for thought: There are three scums in the Chinese community who are called "academic elites":

There are three scum in the Chinese community who are called "academic elites":

1 The late Professor Khoo Kay Kim

2 Professor Teo Kok Seong

3. Professor Mohd Riduan Tee Abdullah

They all have several common characteristics:

1. Born in a British school or a Malay school, not proficient in Chinese and Chinese language.

2. Living in the narrow "ivory tower" of the university, disconnected from the Chinese community, integrating into the Malay community, being assimilated, unconscious, but feeling complacent.

3. Advocate the closure of Chinese primary schools and independent middle schools, and firmly oppose the recognition of unified examination diplomas.

4. They believe that "this country belongs to the Malays." If the Chinese can get citizenship rights, even if they are second-class citizens, they must always be grateful to the Malays.

Now let’s take a look at their real side individually:

1. Professor Khoo Kay Kim was born in Kampar, Perak, and his wife is Indian. He is known as the "Malaysian historian". He once served as a history professor at the University of Malaya and was one of the drafters of the "National Principles". It advocates the elimination of Chinese schools and the unification of only one Chinese school across the country, that is, elementary schools. He once published a theory that "Chinese primary schools cultivate plagiarized talents", which caused a huge stir and was criticized by thousands of people in the Chinese community. He believes that "Malaysia is a country for the Malays." The Chinese must always be grateful for being able to become citizens. What is even more ironic is that his eldest son Qiu Wuying, who is not familiar with Chinese or Chinese, actually serves as the chairman of the "Recognition Committee for the Unified Examination Diploma of Chinese Independent Secondary Schools" established by the Ministry of Education. After his death, the Chinese community commented on him as "a historical sinner of the Chinese community" and "a Chinese traitor."

2. Professor Teo Kok Seong, born in Kelantan, professor at the Institute of Ethnology, National University. He believes that our country does not need multi-stream schools, which are the main cause of disunity among the Malaysian people. He also advocates closing Chinese primary schools and independent high schools. His remarks about "Chinese greed" and "the Chinese community's demands are excessive" were attacked from all sides by the Chinese community. They have no national self-respect and are still complacent.

3. Professor Mohd Riduan Tee Adbullan, born in Telok Intan, Perak, professor at National Defense University. When he was 20 years old, he married a Malay and converted to Islam. Now calling himself a "Islamic missionary", he is the most violent attack on the Chinese

academics. He often attacks the Chinese as "greedy, pushy, forgetful of roots, and ungrateful." He does not mention the Chinese, only "those people who are "kia su" (fear of losing). His words are sharp and mean. In order to please the Malays, he tramples on them vigorously. The dignity and personality of the Chinese are more Malay than the Malays, but they have forgotten that even though they converted to Islam, their blood, skin color and roots will always remain Chinese!

From the words and deeds of these so-called "academic elites", we can draw a conclusion: a person's academic qualifications and academic achievements cannot represent everything. Personal moral cultivation, national self-respect, self-improvement, self-discipline, understanding other people’s culture, customs, history, and respecting them, but there is no need to trample on one’s own language, culture, customs, and dignity to please others.

The ancients said: People will humiliate themselves and then others will humiliate them".

When the Japanese were defeated in WWII, some stayed back in Malaya to do labour work. There were Koreans and Taiwanese who were with the Japs planted within the chinese communities in Malaya during the war. These were the most terrible enemies of the Malayan Chinese, they helped killed and murdered the chinese. They, too, mostly stayed back disappearing into the mass.

Their seeds produced some professors with disoriented racial identification.

These apeks are trying to be more Malays than the Malays themselves .What they don't realise is that the Malays still consider them 2nd class citizens.

First of all, chinese considered non chinese as barbarians. So its not easy for them to assimilate unless at gun point.

Secondly , when chinese excel speaking and studying in malay, they are not rewarded but penalised by not getting admitted into higher education. And not getting gomen jobs. So why bother. You want people to speak malay, you need to give incentives, not penalise them. I know many chinese who graduates of sekolah kebangsaan, speak malay properly, but ended up becoming bar tenders or cooks / technicians although their scores were excellent.

There are some who are proponent of a single school system and others like me who are inclined towards diversity.

Even in UK, there are several examinatio…
