The statement from the Prime Minister that the opposition parliamentary representatives constituency allocation is not a given, seems like a tit-for-tat act of pembalasan.
This act, in fact is an affront towards the rakyat from the opposition constituencies. It is sad that this democratic practice which abides upon Karamah Ihsan has been devalued through conflict of opinion.
In a true democracy, electorates vote on the principle of individual choice. The decisional act not to allocate such fundings may have alluded the foundational crux of reformational principles of equality, justice and above all integrity.
This will remain embedded in the mindset of the electorates.
Such ingrained fixation would remain in the electorates' simple thinking process in the next general election towards their quest for parliamentary representation.
The Prime Minister ought to comprehend that fixated mindsets are the most difficult thought proceses to be reformed once ingrained in an individual's acceptance. The impositional requirements of "negotiation" for funding upon opposition parliamentarians rightly instilled the element of forced reinforcement in the informed mindset of the opposition electorates.
So, be alert about reformational integrity or drive towards unexpected surprises.

PMX does not believe in level playing field. Hence many excuses to maintain race based NEP and affirmative action using rural sarawak schools as excuse. But most scholarships to overseas universities ended up going to Children of prominent civil servants i think. Not really to poor students. I think to save cost we should stop sending kids overseas using gomen money. And use that savings upgrading our schools and in research and development.
