Di Lepas Tanpa Bebas....

Seriously speaking Guys...how many of you are really, really, really upset that Zahid Hamid case has been DNAA? Have you been following his case all these years? Do you really understand what he has been charged with? Whose money he is alleged to have stolen, misused, or abused? And what is that DNAA all about? Di lepas tanpa bebas? How can you be free and yet not be free?

Why an order for DNAA? Most probably for these reasons:

1. There might be insufficient evidence against the accused, and the prosecution needs more time to collect evidence;

2. The investigation against the accused is incomplete; and

3. The prosecution will need more time to ensure that justice is meted out according to the prescribed laws.

DNAA is given before someone goes on trial. It does not matter if we think that Zahid Hamidi is guilty. It does matter if a Judge thinks there is a Prima Facie case against Zahid. There have been prima facie cases that have ended with the accused being found not guilty.

And if Zahid is brought to court and is not convicted, who gets the blame...the AG lah.

And do not bring Najib into the picture. His is a done deal. He is guilty as charged and is now serving his sentence. And as far as Rosmah is concerned, she too has been found guilty. So no DNAA for either of them...thank God!

Zahid has gone to trial in another case, and he has been found not guilty. This is his second court appearance - and before the trial started, the AG has decided that he does not have enough evidence to find Zahid guilty. The AG is asking for more time...he does not know how long it will be before he has all the evidence he needs to take Zahid to court again...but while he is looking for the evidence...he says that Zahid can go free and go on with his life...which is being the DPM.

And I do not know why Zahid or his legal team are so happy. They should be very upset that Zahid has got a DNAA because after all those years in court, they have still not settled the case and Zahid still has the threat of another court case hanging over his head! And at any time they can take him to court again...and who is the "THEY"...not the PMX, not you or me,....it is the AG that can do that... so stop hantaming PMX or Zahid Hamidi......go and ask the AG why he needs more time.

Any person accused of an offense is innocent until proven guilty....so why is it in this case the accused is presumed guilty? The public has raised a hue and cry. Aiyah...the charges have not been withdrawn and the accused has not been totally discharged...all it says is that, as far as the AG is concerned, there is work to be done before Zahid can be found guilty as charged.

BUT...and it is a big but, is not the AG appointed by PMX? Do you think that the PMX can tell the AG what to do?

Remember that Apandi guy who insisted that Najib is innocent of all charges... Whatever Najib was being accused of, Apandi said "NOT GULTY!".

Remember also, Tommy Thomas who was appointed by Mahathir and then went on to prosecute Najib, got him convicted and jailed.

So are AGs beholden to their political masters? That, my friend, is for you to decide.

For me, this DNAA thingy is what Zahid Hamidi needed to go on with the business of being the DPM effectively, and it is also a decision that our PMX needed for him to go with the business of government. The Wisdom of Solomon?. Huh...DSAI and Zahid Hamidi have it by the bucket full! Tabek hormat to them.
