Selamat Pagi Malaysia.
I am conflicted as to how I am to handle this matter. I cannot ignore it because it is current, and it is in the minds of the Malays and every thinking rakyat of Malaysia. Yes, the Malays are divided, but is this Proklamasi to unite the Malays for political gains or to help the Malays as a race? Or both?
Our Malaysia is today mired in rhetoric and drowning in the stormy seas of politics, race, and religion that threaten its very existence. Malaysia does not only belong to one race. Malaysia does not belong to any one religion. Malaysia cannot be held to ransom by politicians to serve their ends....and Malaysia certainly must not be a haven for thieves and scoundrels that robs, pillages, and strips it of everything and anything of value and honor.
We, you and me, and anyone else out there that calls Malaysia home, and who love and respect that Malaysia and want that Malaysia to be in the image that we have yearned for it to be...a MALAYSIA for everyone who calls it home.... we must be together, committed in intent and united in purpose to make that Malaysia ours.
Does this Proklamasi Orang Melayu go towards those ends?
Let us have an open mind. Let us listen more to what those who are behind this Proklamasi have to say in the coming days as they try to drum up support and solidarity among the Malays for what they are trying to do.
Maybe our PMX may embrace this Proklamasi as an extension of the MADANI concept if this Proklamasi is an attempt to restore the dignity and glory of the Malays - for are not the Malays also Malaysians?
And if the Malays can once again have compassion, care, and respect for the others in Malaysia and, through this Proklamasi, earn their trust....then maybe PMX should embrace this Proklamasi and make it his own, should he not?
One more thing. Religious suthorties are confiscating food served from malay only stalls if it opens too early. One i heard from mother and son delivery service. These are small business which need to survive and malay authorities are persecuting them. None of the malay parties are defending these impoverished malays.
Meanwhile mamak shops, mcdonalds, kfc allowed to stay open.
Give malays top class education if you want malays to succeed. The scots and irish would not be where they are now, if they had not used english. Even entite EU now uses english as second language as can be seen in news conference.
Once malays are comfortable in two languages, their confidence gets a boost and are not terrified of being invaded anymore they can easily move elsewhere like the scots and irish.
the english, scots and irish all noe have ir had leaders of south asian origin. The lead the world in tolerance but not towards europe where they treat europeans as threats to their island nation.
I really don’t understand when it is said that ‘Malays are divided’. Is it because of many years of brainwashing hasn’t worked? They are ‘divided’ because the Malays have actually seen through the ruse of selfish racist corrupted politicians who wanted power forever and ever? They are ‘divided’ the Malays have realised the total duplicity and are in fact perfectly totally capable of making up their own minds?! 🤔🤔🤔
Mamak kutty…… the devil that stop the Malaysian unity.
