Selamat Pagi Malaysia. No blur Ismail Sabri, no Annur Musa, no Tajuddin Rahman, no Nazri Aziz, no Shahidan Kassim, no false Tunku, no Hadi and thank God, no Muhyiddin. There seems to be a perceptible change in perceptions. With people like Anwar, Rafizi, Fahmi, Hannah Yeoh, and Anthony Loke in Putrajaya, there is again honor in being a politician.
And as we walk with Hannah into her massive Sports and Youth ministerial office, I remembered the last video I saw of Hannah: Her driving a four-wheel drive with mattresses in the back to sedekah to flood victims...no entourage with her, just her driving the four-wheel drive herself...doing what comes naturally to Hannah...helping others in need of help. Indeed there is no more deserving person than Hannah to be a minister. Surely, this is the stuff of dreams?
Briefings after Cabinet meetings are crisp, informative, and full of "to-do things" done. And the promise of more "to do things" to be done in the future. Press conferences are really question time for the media to ask Ministers what they want to ask. No pandering to an inflated ego. No walking on eggshells when asking questions, lest you upset the pompous Minister and become a person of interest to the powers that be. The question we want to ask of the Ministers is being asked. It is refreshing and it is real. Welcome to the new normal. Ministers are human beings. Ministers know who put them into office.
Yes, these are early days, but we are hopeful that things will only get better.
There are still many unfinished businesses to be done. Observe the above two obnoxious fellers. One is already gone, when will the other feller go?
Why is he obnoxious?
I thought this guy was once a breath of fresh air...he wrote about things we felt and wanted to articulate but could not, and we believed that this was a man we could expect to remain true to our struggle to get rid of corrupt politicians and obnoxious entitled human beings....but... at the first opportunity he had to partake of the gravy train...a plump job, generous emoluments and a Tan Sri title to boot...he took the bait without even a glance our way. For most of us, this man is now sampah. Worthless and without honor.
Be as it may, even as there are many others like the above two who have sullied the public office that they held, this PH-led Unity Government must not go on a witch hunt to ferret out all those from the BN and PN era who have caused our nation and them, much pain and suffering. Leave it to the authorities and the courts to mete out justice to these rogues. You guys need to focus on the future. Much work to be done!
Be good. Do good and be nice to one another.
You couldn’t have put it any better by asking the new govt on get on with the job of governing and concentrating on sorting the problems of the Nation. One of the issues with the first PH govt was it was always on the back foot because of the incessant sniping by DUMNOs and others, and instead of focusing on their tasks, they became largely defensive. Not that they didn’t do anything during their tenure; they did, actually quite a bit! But the soundbites being broadcast was the constant consistent finger-pointing by those who lost the seat of power and infighting within the ruling coalition ( read, PKR).
The sad truth is the tax payers will now have to feed that obnoxious moron for the rest of his life! Hope that will not last that long as I do not wish my tax money is used to fund this moron.
Gd mng fellas! ☕️😍
Ahmad maslan is an interesting appointment, its probably political. Jo wangsa maju may have been a better option as he may have no control over the kpg baru,sg baru project now. Hopefully it will go on.
I had a chat with matsabu in pasir gudang.I like his dynamism and quite an experienced minister.
Hannah and gang are a refreshing team and looks dynamic. She is a friend of chua jui mengs family and are well advised what not to do. Hope she will build that stadium for sukma 2026 in kelantan.
Rafizi is going to use datascience to come out with policies and programs. That is interesting and refreshing. This guy is the future. Never understood what a…
