The political survival....no that is not right...they have already survived PRU15....the political well-being of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi, lies with each other. The strength, or weakness of one, will decide the future of the other. The failure of one will pull down the other. Nowhere is this truth more self-evident than in the outcome of PRU15 and its aftermath for both, DSAI and DSZH.
Anwar won. Zahid Hamid lost. Zahid lost badly.
Convention dictates Zahid Hamid should take responsibility for BN's loss at the polls. Anwar threw him a lifeline and roped him into relevance by reaching out to BN to be its lead coalition partner in forming Government. The strategic alliance gave political life to UMNO. To his credit, DSZH took the opportunity and parlay it into making Umno the strategic partner of the government of the day. That resuscitated Umno back to the land of the political living. Done.
DSZH is the architect of that alliance.
Without DSZH, Umno would have broken up into factions, each serving the vested interest of individuals, not the interest of BN. Without DSZH Umno would have gone to the dark side - made an alliance with the devil - with Perikatan Nasional - with Muhyiddin and Hadi, as evident in the Statutory Declarations of support for PN signed by rogue Umno MPs to serve their own vested interests.
Now instead of licking their wounds after being mauled at the polls, Umno will have significant representation in the PH government. Umno may have their President as DPM with four Ministers in Cabinet. A remarkable turnaround for UMNO and for Zahid Hamidi - the same Zahid Hamidi that was destined to be consigned to the graveyard of political irrelevance after leading Umno to defeat at PRU15!
Now, the other side of the political coin. What will PN do to make political capital of PH working with BN post PRU15?
Consider this........
Yes, Anwar and Zahid are on record for promising the electorates that they will NOT work with each other come hell or high water, but stranger things have happened in Malaysian politics.
PAS has worked with Umno, DAP, PKR, and anyone else that will throw substantial sustenance, of the financial kind, their way. The revolving door through which politicians have passed from one party to the other and from one political faction to the other, is, to say the least, bewildering and dizzying.
A past president of Umno and his wife, are now convicted felons.
PAS now has the most seats in Parliament. Umno much less.
DSAI is now prime minister. So, who is to say that DSZH cannot be DPM in a PH unity government?
Anything that is to be said for and against this union of PH and BN, for and against the partnership between Anwar and Zahid, and the morality and ethics of this union has been said in these last few days since the possibility of that union was first mooted by the powers that be.
What else can Muhyiddin and Hadi add to the conversation that we have not heard, read, talked about, and debated, in these last few days? I cannot think of a single thing.
The public debate about the good and bad, the right and wrong, and the morality and ethics of PH and BN working together has run its course - over and done with, and the consensus is simply this: if that is what DSAI needs to do a government of the people, for the people and by the people....so be it. We will give DSAI the benefit of the doubt and see if his cakap ada serupa bikin in the coming days as DSAI opens Malaysian up again, for business.
We have been through that cirit berit Abah whose tenure as PM was obnoxiously supported by a bloated cabinet of 70 paralytic and parasitic mercenary ministers of dubious abilities.
That Abah's government has never been validated by a vote of confidence in parliament.
Many billions spent during Abah's tenure as PM, supposedly to combat the Covid pandemic, are unaccounted for.
We had a Burberry-attired blurred PM from Bera, a Middle East Envoy that never went to the Middle East.

And most debilitating of all for the rakyat...for the past many years, we have been subjected to a 24/7 crescendo of inane political chatter and babbling that have rendered us all, politically fatigued. Enough!
Today, Malaysia is again open for business. Today, in DSAI, we have a new leader, a new dawn, and a new beginning. Let the games begin.

I feel sick when I see ignorant people being sent to maimed and kill in the name of beliefs. How many never ask questions but to follow blindly. Just like the above illustrated example, so brainwashed are they that they seriously believed, in heaven there are virgins waiting, but first they have to die, when you're dead you can't even bring your body with you, what good will a penis do without a body? 🤦♀️ We need to reeducate our children to think, to ask questions and to be rational.
The only tenet in politic is win! Period.
