AMNESTY! If You Have Two Bentleys, Return One And Keep The Other!

How much time and effort is being used to bring corrupt politicians to Justice? How many of the charges faced by these politicians are genuine, and how many are politically motivated? It took many years before Najib was in jail. Do we also have to wait four years before Rosmah is jailed if she is found guilty? How much did it cost the nation? When will it all end?

Should we not consider a truce? An Amnesty?

Now and then, undocumented workers, aka illegal immigrants, are granted an amnesty. Under this amnesty, the government offers an opportunity for undocumented foreign workers to either return home voluntarily without facing any legal action or apply for legal status.

PDRM at times offers 50% discount for traffic offenders who want to settle their outstanding summonses. LHDN should also consider giving people a discount if they pay the Tax that they have not been paying. Of course lah there will be disputes between the taxpayer and LHDN about the total amount to be paid...but think of this plus....this way you are getting the taxpayer to declare what they want to pay to LHDN...instead of LHDN having to get their people to go after the tax cheats! This way you have these tax cheats put up their hands and say "Hey I am a tax cheat....can we discuss making a deal?"

Even Anwar is asking politicians who have taken money to return the "loot".....but why should they do so? Because it is illegal for them to steal money from the rakyat? Huh... damm if they care!

Do you want to know what they do care about?

They care about whether they are going to get a discount on any punishment to be meted out to them for being corrupt.

Can it be a one-for-one thing...for every dollar they return, they can keep one dollar for themselves. If they have two Bentleys, return one and keep the other! If they have two billion ringgits, return one billion and keep the other billion.

Maybe a discount on the punishment too....go tell Najib that he can have his sentence cut by 10% for every billion he returns! I am sure he will be able to find ten billion ringgits without too much difficulty and cut his remaining 11-year jail term to zilch. If truth be told, I don't care if Najib goes free esok if the national kitty has an additional 11 billion ringgits it can spend on the rakyat.

You should also start plea bargaining with Rosmah now! Think about the hours of court time you can save if you can kautim with Rosmah now instead of four years down the road because I am sure it will take that long before she finally exhausts all the appeals process due to her. I think I will support the courts if they get RM2 billion from Rosmah and give her an early release......how early?

As soon as she pays the RM$2 billion, she can go free and have her passport returned so that she can go visit her daughter in Singapore as many times as she wants. Hell...I think we should consider giving Rosmah the two billion ringgits if we can be spared having to watch her plead to be set free because she is not corrupt!

May I also respectfully suggest that we do not prevent these corrupt politicians from going abroad to live with whatever illegal gains they still have after settling with this Madani government? Let them take whatever money they have with them when they leave...good riddance.

Once this is done, PDRM can focus on really taking care of the Rakat. SPRM can focus on catching other politicians who still want to be corrupt. Think how much more efficient SPRM can be once all the old cases are archived. Their staff, from Azam Baki down, can focus on preventing new corruption rather than trying to apprehend those old, wily, and sly corrupt politicians that they are now having problems apprehending!

We will also be rid of those politicians who are making their money from frightening the daylights out of the Malays. How so? The easiest way to spook the Malays into voting for them is to tell the Malays that the Chinese were going to take over Malaysia in ten years' time. And once they are voted in, they keep repeating the story at every election.

Gone too will be the holier-than-thou idiots trying to save Islam from the Christians and

the Infidels. And what about those guys wanting to sell you tickets to Syurga and promising you a good time with those 72 virgins? All these medicine men turn politicians have already made their pile of money from politics. How sweet would it be to NOT have them in Malaysia anymore....just give us back half of the money you have stolen from us....and you can go away.

Let's have an Amnesty for corrupt politicians! PMX can then focus on the things that really matter: Like taking care of the rakyat to the best of his ability. Kan?

Its almost impossible to punish a politician even if they were caught with hundreds of millions in their properties.

The loot eventually will be returned and even if their net orth is RM600 million as in the case of Ku Nan or another top umno guy i was told with RM90 mil in tabung haji, nobody can touch them. Like the prosecutors in the AG are just not good enough to nail them. Plus some simply declare the funds belong to party.

After spending 15 years in self-exile, Thailand's former premier Thaksin Shinawatra returned, only to be subsequently incarcerated for an anticipated eight-year term, as ruled by the court.

This case raises an important question: should we refrain from stopping corrupt politicians from leaving the country with their ill-gotten gains after reaching an agreement with the current administration? What can we learn from Thaksin ?
