Aisehman...the "PMX jatuh dalam bilik air" story is fake news lah.

Late this morning I received the following message:

"Ada berita mendakwa PMX trjatuh dlm bilik air d rmh nya pg td n justru doktor tlh menasihati beliau agar berihat n jgn pegi kerja....can you verify the news?"

The first thing I did was go on to my class Whatsapp to see if there was anything about Anwar there. Zilch. Zero. Nothing. Another fake story I told myself. With a sigh of relief, I went back to writing about Rosmah and Najib.

Then this was forwarded to me...with a question. "Ssein have you seen this? Betul ka?"

And even as I was about to reply to that message, another one clicked itself onto my whatsapp.

And another!

I googled "Anwar Ibrahim". Nothing about Anwar being unwell. And then came this message on my whatsapp.......

and another one....

That was all I needed to reassure me that the "Anwar terjatuh di bilik air awal pagi tadi" story is fake news and I thought that was the end of the story. BUT no it was not. It already had a life of its own and went viral. I kept getting messages asking me if Anwar was alright. Aku betul fed up lah....so I am posting this to let you guys know that Anwar is ok BUT I am not because I am still getting messages asking me if Anwar is OK !!!

ANWAR IS OK.

Now please leave me alone!

Opps I forgot about stories of Zahid also not being well. This is old news lah. This came out last Friday. When I got that 'forward' about him having Prostate cancer, I sent off the message to a trusted friend who knows Zahid well.... and his answer is below. Enough said.
