The Prime Minister talking cock.
Selamat Pagi Malaysia...
For a fleeting moment in time, the two incumbents, one a President and the other a Prime Minister, went eyeball to eyeball over issues and matters that both have agreed to disagree on.
The Prime Minister had a Cabinet of 31 ministers and 38 deputy ministers.
The President had Umno and his Watikah.
( Watikah : the endorsement letter only the president of Umno can give for Umno politicians standing as candidates in PRU15. The president can choose to have his own loyalist as potential MPs to strengthen his position as president of Umno and potential Prime Minister if BN wins PRU15 ).
The Prime Minister signed an MOU with PH to yada yada yada yada and also to secure his position as Prime Minister.
The President had Umno and his Watikah.
The Prime Minister said the courts must not be interfered with (read...I hope Najib , Zahid, and the court clusters are all convicted and sent to jail - which will conveniently rid any potential rivals to his position as Prime Minister).
The President had Umno and his Watikah.
The Prime Minister said no to an early election because having an election in the monsoon period will burden the rakyat and yada yada yada....
The President used Umno to push for an early election and rattled his Watikah for good measure lest the Prime Minister forgets who is in charge of choosing Umno's candidate for PRU15.
When push came to shove, eyeball to eyeball, the Prime Minister blinked.
And he blinked because the President had Umno and his Watikah.
In the end, the Prime Minister was shown up to be a gutless, spineless, blur MP from Bera who was in over his head as Prime Minister. Cakap tak serupa bikin....
And now what? We are going to have an election during the monsoon months.
Yes, it was the President who has been clamoring for an election to be held dalam masa terdekat - even in the monsoon months - and damm the consequences on the rakyat. And for a brief period, the President was the demon. His political agenda was paramount and overcomed those of the rakyat. He also wanted a pardon for the convicted felon whom he said had not been given justice. He said he wanted a fresh mandate from the rakyat to govern. What was left unsaid by the president is how he wanted to govern.
And we all cheered the prime minister for standing firm against an election in the monsoon months. We all cheered the prime minister when he allowed the courts to prevail and sent the convicted felon to Kajang. And we wanted the Prime Minister to continue winning against the President as common sense told us that the Prime Minister was doing the right thing....and for a time, the Prime Minister was doing just that...until he blinked.
And the Prime Minister blinked because the President read him the riot act. The president told the Prime Minister, that if he did not have the general election that he wanted then the Prime Minister will no longer be in Umno. The President will expel the Prime Minister from Umno.
The Prime Minister lost his nerve.
He met Dollah Pendek and did what he had to do to "persuade" Dollah to agree to a dissolution of parliament. I will not speculate how the Prime Minister 'persuaded' Dollah to agree to the dissolution, but nudge nudge wink wink lah.....
And now the President is no longer the demon who wanted an early election in order to find a political solution to his problems. The demon is now the gutless, spineless Prime Minister who did not stand up against the President's demand for an early election.
Now...who in Cabinet wants to side with a gutless and spineless prime minister?
Who in government wants to side with a gutless and spineless Prime Minister?
Who in Umno wants to do the same?
And who, in any political coalition, wants a lame-duck leader who is now on his way out?
So what will now happen to the prime minister?
I think, notwithstanding the fact that the Prime Minister did what he was told to do by the President, the President will still use his position in Umno to get rid of the Prime Minister, and in case that does not happen dalam masa terdekat, the President will use his watikah to ensure that Prime Minister will not have a leg to stand on in PRU15.
The Prime Minister is done for. Kaput. He will be a man without a party, without a seat to contest in the PRU15, without a political future, and if all goes to the President plan, dalam masa terdekat, the Prime Minister will not be Prime Minister any longer.
Moral of the story? Do not be a gutless, spineless prime minister if you are going against the president of Umno.
For the Prime Minister, it is now crying time.
God forbid, but should a single life be lost because a voter had to wade through floodwaters, cross a swollen river or drive through torrential rain to get to a polling station to cast a vote during PRU15, that life lost will be on the head of this gutless spineless, Prime Minister. So help me God!
Enough said.
