This much I can say about DSAI. He is not poor, but, neither was he riding any gravy train during his time in politics when he could have done so at his heart's content. And this was brought to my attention by one of our classmates in reply to one of the articles I wrote recently, about brother Anwar.
And I have been remiss in not bringing this to the attention of our friends. Yes, we, his classmates, have seen Anwar up close and personal. At the first dinner we had at his house, I still remember the question I wanted to ask him then, but did not. "Who is paying for the dinner? You or the Kerajaan". As dinner go, it was ok. Not ostentatious, but ok. I am sure Anwar could afford to belanja us, himself. And to those of us who have needed his help, he has helped.
Through the years, when he was not serving time at the Agong's pleasure, we would often meet at his house for coffee or a meal. Always I find his house to be comfortable and never ostentatious. There is nothing of Anwar that you can fault and say that he is living beyond his means. So Tabek brother...you are ok.
Now can you please focus on making PKR and PH ready for PRU15!
