These are the Malaysian that is holding our society together! Friends and neighbors who have come together to help others in need with money that comes from other Malaysians. Are we all not our brother and sister keepers?
Pertubuhan Gerakan Orang Biasa is one such NGO. Its name speaks for itself. Their goal is to help normal people and their funds comes from normal people.
Barang sekolah sikit, barang seni and art supplies. Basic food items for the flats. Bed sheets, bantal and tilam.
With donations collected, they head for Termeloh to help those who are affected by the floods. Tolong bangkitkan economy di area impacted by the flood...and then to the villages that may also need their help.
These Malaysians are tireless, selfless in their work. Thinking only of those less fortunate than them, wanting nothing in return. They are not looking for personal gain and require no recognition from anyone, for they know that what they do is what they need to do if Malaysians are to get through the horrendous times that we are all now facing.
Thank you PGOB...thank you to all other Malaysians who are doing their best to help other Malaysians. You have our love, our respect, and our thanks for the work you guys do.
And please those who are with means....give generously of your time and money. And what you can spare, donate to share with other less fortunate Malaysians.
Ok?
